Nice! Plays just like the ball draining bastard I remember. The only noticeable issue I have is that I can't trap the ball shooting out of the chair, which I'm pretty sure I can do on the real thing in town.

I have not played it much but from what I've played it seems really good. Maybe some more tweaking and it will be perfect. From my memory of playing this table your version is almost feeling like the one I remember, actually perhaps using PacDudes version as a guide may come in handy as his plays exactly like the machine I remember, but, then again not all machines played the same. The thing animation is FREAKING AWESOME love it!! smile.gif The only thing I'm not crazy on is the lighting effects and that's only because the table seems a tad on the bright side, so in my opinion the light show that the Real Machine or PacDudes version gives during say, the seance mode is not as prominent here. Perhaps darkening the table would add more to this but then again that's just my preference. This table is extremely crisp and Hi-Res looking, FAR more than other tables.

One more thing I noticed - trapping the ball for a few seconds while "The Power" is active doesn't disable the magnets. Granted, that's totally cheating anyway, but it DOES work on the real machine.

About the light effects. On a bright table the lighting effect won't be as noticeable as in a dark one. The problem here is that I don't like dark tables so much, that's why my tables are on the bright side, in fact the table was going to be even brigter, but i darkened it a little to add the GI. And you can add here that I'm almost new to the photoshop-gimp stuff, I'm just learning to create effects. I must say again that PD's version is awesome.
About the gameplay, it may need some fine adjustments to make it play closer to the real one.

I'll be downloading this for my cab. smile.gif The tip of the plunger cover purple arrow should be closer to the top of the right price card though. Right now it's about an inch too far to the back of the table. A pic is here - and since you have the space, should be easy to move the graphic/gauge down. http://www.pinballun...20playfield.jpg

Hi Melon, found a new ball problem. Take a look at the attached picture, please.

That happened to me as well. The ball hit hard right between the blue target and the stairs and stuck in there.

I guess this table may not be one of the easiest to recreate, still looks
like an toppscore effort. And plays very well to. Good slope.
But i changed the view/inclination from 62 to 56, in my op it made a lot of differance
to the better, to see and play the table.

just got to play a quick game between jobs. Really nice melon. It looks and plays fantastic. Out of curiosity, did you opt to not use the fading gi. I noticed you are using the standard gicallback in the top of the script rather than the gicallback2.

GREAT release Melon! The graphics are very crisp and sharp, and it plays very well! The table was a bit slow for my taste, but I tweaked the physics a bit and it plays even better! Can't wait to see the final version of Fish Tales, too! Any ideas on what is next after you reel in FT? cool.gif

Thanks for your work on this table, it is very well done. Your VP table building skills are top notch, I look forward to fish tales! Thanks again and have a great day.

The magnet should turn off when the Status Report comes on. Isn't the magnet controlled by the ROM? How could that happen then?

Yeah, I know. I raised it a bit because of the view I use in my tables (I like the flippers as low as possible), but maybe I moved it too much, I may need to move it down as I have space like you said.

To be honest this is the first time I do this and I didn't know all the options I had, I just scripted it on the fly (maybe I need to study it a little more, I don't even know the difference between gicallback and gicallback2)
I was thinking about an option to disable the fading GI, maybe in a future revision I add a menu to select some things.

After Fish Tales I will go for WCS94 (I am redrawing the playfield, it's almost done), and after that I wouldn't say (High Speed, Space Shuttle, RoadShow...)
May I ask what parameters did you change? I almost went crazy with the phisics on this one!

The McD

I was going to say the same, the magnet is rom controlled. It may be a rom version issue?

I still have to take a look at it. Never played the real gold one. If there aren't so many diferences I could make it.

And about the ball getting stuck at certain places, I'll fix it, and I will release a new version tomorrow.
