awesome update! I love the new hi-res versions!

but I think aiming the big ufo is now more diffcult than the previous version. can anyone confirm? please make some shots to the big main ufo to compare old/new version.

Is there any possible way to trick this table into using a different rom or nvram file for saving the high score? (Different from Attack from Mars)

I haven't tried this, but if you made a copy of the ROM and changed its name and then changed the ROM name in the script, I don't see why that wouldn't work. Same Rom, just 2 different files with different names.

Would pinmame recognize it with a different name?
You could always step back one rom version for this table, then it should save seperately

no it "shouldn't" be recognized because it's not part of the pinmame 'list' if I'm not mistaken... maybe Gaston or Destruk could chime in on this?

...but looking at the script, JP commented out the "home/no credits required" rom which you could use for this purpose and keep second score perhaps?

See, you learn something every day. smile.gif I know very little about PinMame. smile.gif

PinMame is open source, so I guess someone could make a new list for themselves. It's still just a file with a different name.

Thanks for the 9.1x update JP. One thing, the gate to the big saucer is missing the red targets.

This also happens on your latest release of Attack from Mars.

It's the angle of the table. The targets are there, they just won't show up at this angle.

I guess it is the same layback. I'm trying to fix it, but I have to use a much higher inclination to fix it, and the top of the table looks smaller. So I'm trying to change the way I made those walls. And if everything fails, then I'll just delete them smile.gif Anyway dropwalls on top of dropwalls or very close dropwalls don't work very well in VP smile.gif

Edit: I have updated this FS table, it has the same version number, but now the targets are visible. I had to make invisible the side walls of the that wall behind the targets, otherwise it hides the targets (?!) Things that happen with dropwalls. smile.gif
