Pics are on your ftp. As for VP and limits, with VPDisco and/or VPPlus that limitation only applies to Future Pinball. You'd want to use a plugin anyway to get the overlay transparency pinball 2000 requires, but the limitation is only how big your hard disk is for VP.

you mean the TAB pix Destruk?

Well if anyone can do a vp version next to it
because i still find FP to slow with ball speed and phsyics

(sorry)

Just to be sure, I'm still going to ask permission to the original conceptor of RFM if they would approve recreation from a fan.
it is a lot of work and nobody would like it to be shut down near completion. If the permission is not given, I might just do my own artwork and SFX but the table would still be a minigame/alien invasion.

I can work in parallele with someone from VP that want to do it also, any taker? ...wondering though, if there is a limitation in VP when it come to the amount of images that it can hold. As for FP, 1500 is pretty much the max. So I unfortunaltly will have to select some minigames but will also have to let go some other..

But I'm sure that most of the people will agree...a reduced version of RFM is better than none.

- Tab, I'm on the hunt for Video, can you film? most of the youtube are hard to know what is what.
- If someone have the machine and send me a top view of the playfield that would be nice.

so to recap: my plan is to create 4 large size images (playfield, plastic, backglass and cabinet) and a sequence of 1500 images for a scrolling menu, intro of the minigames,
and the minigames themselves.

Will try to take a video wink.gif

Ok I have the answer I was looking for, so don't wait for this table to be made.
This would be direct competition with the actual licensor, and I have a great respect for them so I will not proceed.

On the upper side, my next project will be an original.
Sorry about that and thank you to all of those who sent me pictures.

Hello Steve. You might want to ask about this again. It's been 15 years, and the licensee no longer sells NuCore or replacement boards for Pinball 2000. They put their code online for free. Also there are at least two emulators for Pinball 2000 now - I'm not sure if they have been released but a guy on Pinside has been talking about it and displaying some results.  It still runs slow. With this information, it should be OK now to go ahead and knock yourself out with these machines, close, inaccurate, or not.

02.01.19 Nucore Available for FREE!

We are pleased to announce we have suspended sales and are offering the current version of Nucore free of charge. Since this version is free we have also suspended direct support. Please see our forums for community support.

Pinball 2000 Emulator - Nucore - BIG GUYS PINBALL LLC

Also for a year ot two now this guy has been making changes to the game code files with updated feature sets and he hasn't gotten any notices or emails about it. -- Star Wars Episode 1 Pinball Updates | Pinball info

Steve doesn't work on tables anymore. If someone knows how to contact him, he might turn over the project to someone else.
