Thank you so much for figuring out what caused the crash, JP. Sorry you had to go through so much trouble.
I did what you said and it works great now. No problems at all now biggrin.gif
Thank you for all your time and effort you put into this table.

Update 3: It has to do with the Vpinball.exe. Right click on the Vpinball.exe (9.0.7 exe file), choose properties, in the compatibility tab choose "Run this program as an administrator" and also choose "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and choose Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Then it works.

I have tried now several times adding (read the update 3) and removing those settings it and it works, so now all of you who use win7 can play this table.

Hi JP, I am 100% certain I already have the "run as administrator" checkbox enabled, but I am uncertain about the "windows xp mode" checkbox. I'll confirm this setting tonight when I get home. Thanks for all your tireless effort trying to find the solution for us!! biggrin.gif We really appreciate it!

Best Regards,
Todd.

p.s. adding the Windows XP mode checkbox did fix it for me!! biggrin.gif Thanks JP!!!!

Like clockwork! That's indeed what you have to do in W7 64bit to make it work ..

Thanks again!

Cheers,

I have Vista x64, and I have the same problem. For compatibility mode I can only go up to XP SP2, and this does not seem to resolve the problem.

I'm currently running NVidia GeForce GST 250, v196.21, but I'll be updating to v197.13 to see if it helps.

I also have this same problem with Fast Draw.

Yes, the table looks very good in FS with the layback feature. I nearly didn't need to change any object. Normally when rotating a table I have to make many objects higher to make them look good. But in this table I only made Rudy a little bigger and changed the 3 orange plastics on the left ramp.

YES JP You made my weekend!! smile.gif This is one of my favorite tables of all time, and the only one my Fiance plays..she likes hitting the clown with the pinball, haha! I tried setting layback myself but Rudy's head looked off. This is great!

Great job on the table JP! smile.gif Im having one problem though. When my ball passes under the left ramp for the first time, the ramp disappears! Here is a video showing it vanish!

*UPDATE*
Never mind i fixed it, had to change the x and y offsets. The left side is too close to the screen. Might want to update it JP if you have the time. Thanks for this awesome release!

Sorry I had meant to post this in the FS thread smile.gif
"Great Job JP the table looks and plays wonderful!! I am usually not one to comment but since this is my favorite table a few things I modded.

1. The upper left flipper I dialed down the strength just a tad. It was virtually impossible to get the ball in the trapdoor because it went so darn fast. Lowering it just a little makes it hard but not virtually impossible which seems a little more realistic

2. I went ahead and put the table slope back to the old setting. When the ball shoots out of the little hole by the gangway sign you should be able to trap it on the right flipper most of the time. With the more slope it bounced a little too much. From my experience thats how the table played but its been a while since I played it in the wild. It does play that way on Pinball Hall of Fame Williams Classics though hehe

Anyways just my 2 cents .

One request which may be too much trouble but I think folks on here would love. Any way you can enable manual plungers on your tables? The old Funhouse had one but not this version. I was able to just put on over the plunger you have and it works ok but it would be really nice to have them there to enable if we wanted!! But I understand if this is a lot of extra work, however I think a lot of cab owners have a plunger.

Thanks for all your hard work, I am glad you like this hobby so much because you are cranking out good tables like hotcakes!! One of these days I will have to learn how to code these things. I have the programming background, but not so sure about the photoshop stuff. I would need to buy a new PC though because my only windows machine is a CAB. My laptop is a mac and I dont think it will run well virtualized.

THanks for all you do!!!!

Adam"
