DOF is only working on Visual Pinball and DOFLinx doesn't appear to be working on any other system

Now I'm getting a new error all of a sudden only in Pinup Popper.

Every time I enter a wheel, like Visual Pinball, Future Pinball, FX2, FX3, etc, and it does this on ALL wheels, the following message is displayed.

dllerror_t.jpg

I then just click off that error to make it go away but no table will load from any wheel.

Something is wrong with Pinup Popper.  I'm running 2.0 beta.  Should I try downgrading back to 1.5 or is that risky, especially considering the problems I've had?

So as of right now, I can't play ANY tables from ANY category through Pinup Popper due to that DLL error but they all work fine if launching them manually.

Thanks,

UPDATE:  I rebooted the computer and haven't seen that message again (yet).  All tables are now loading fine.

The only BIG remaining problem I have left is when I try to run a table from within Pinup Popper's GUI it gives an error and crashes DOFLinx but then once I click "quit" DOFLinx is shut down and the table continues to load and does NOT crash any more.  It's totally playable once I get past the error.  But I get zero errors if I don't use Pinup Popper and just open a table manually and DOFLinx works GREAT then!

So what could it be?

It HAS to be something in Pinup Popper, right?

Thanks,

On the surface it sounds like Popper is the trigger, but I can't think why.  Getting that opening DLL error that came and went worries me a bit.  It stilll sounds a bit security / something not unblocked ish.  What is the error that you are now getting?

The only error I'm getting now is that unhandled exception error that I posted several screenshots of a while back and it only happens when FP is run through Pinup Popper, otherwise I get absolutely no errors at all and everything works great!

It happens as soon as you try to begin starting a table.  As soon as you press select on a table from within Popper that unhandled exception message pops up.  If I click "quit" DOFLinx closes and then the table continues to load properly and does not crash and is totally playable with no further issue.

So, to me, it MUST be some type of problem with Pinup Popper.  Some setting somewhere or a corrupt file, etc.  But I don't know where to begin looking. :(

That DLL error message only happened for a period of about 15 minutes until I decided to just reboot the computer and I haven't seen it since.

Thanks,

Are you running any DOFLinx enabled FP tables?  If not simply remove Future Pinball from the PROCESSES= line in DOFLinx.ini
