Hi. Can someone verify does the LUTs have any effect in the VPX 10.8? I have changed them in the ACDC Luci table, and I cannot see no difference from the side by side screenshots. I also tried external LUT that didn't came with the table, no difference.

Yes, the LUT images work very well with VPX8, just check any of my tables.

Thanks jpsalas. Odd, when I'm in the editor and change the LUTs in the "Color Grading LookupTable(256x16)" dropdown menu and save, nothing happens. Not even after restarting the VPX. Am I screwing the simple thing somehow :P

There are 2 files, one is a .v01 the other is .v02.

These are not file types, what am I supposed to do with them for vpx 10.8?

Are you using alternative depth buffer processing?

I have to activate this option because I've got an (older) AMD GPU and I've noticed that the tonemapping selection in the F12 menu or the table options does nothing while in this mode (in VPX 8).

When I switch ADBP off the tonemapping function works, but this will result in rendering issues and frame rate problems.

Perhaps there's something similar going on with the LUT function.

I guess the table is using his own image, so changing it in the editor will not work if the image is changed in the script.

It was actually the script, didn't first figure it out because there were no mentions about LUTs. Now its working, thanks!

Just to be sure... the 10.8.1 builds are now listed as "master" on github?

Yes.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Is anyone experiencing ball stutter with the last few releases (including final)?

lafester, which tables? Last few releases means anything VPX8 or what exactly? Did you update VPinMAME as well? For me ball stutter on a few tables was actually resolved after updating both.

Also the B2S server should be updated, and FlexDMD :)

Why is there suddenly pages of Masters ?

Also why did we suddenly go from 10.8.0 to 10.8.1 ? (as regards the listings i mean)

Sorry if these questions seem a bit "noob".

Cheers.

Because 10.8.0 reaches the "final" Status.
So 10.8.1 becomes the new master branch

But this don't means WE have to switch all our Installations 😉

The latest vpw ac/dc is my reference table. The latest B2S server was giving me issues as well. I actually updated VPinMame past final to see if that changed anything. It did not.

RC4 is giving me the best results so far. Its actually more like frame skipping rather then stutter.
