I just tried the update

I don't think it's cosmetic

Just download the version 1.0.1

Now you can see more clearly the lights blinking.

Not sure what else I can say

I don't know, they are working fine on my two computers, one with an Nvidia card and the other with an Intel. The one with an Nvidia card was running at 144Hz, that's why I could see the lights blinking on the first version, but they didn't blink much in the Intel computer, as it was running at 60Hz. Version 1.0.1 works better now as the lights blink faster.

So, I don't know what's the reason why the lights don't work on your computer. The only thing I can say, if other tables are working fine, is that it could be the rom not being the pro version, as some lights and targets have not the same ID, the same as for the solenoids. Maybe try deleting the nvram file to reset the rom to its defaults. That used to clear some problems from time to time.

If someone has other tips, please be free to write them down.

Pinmame audit doesn't flag any errors, but you're right, it could be an nvram issue.  I've seen that before.

In the meantime, if anyone could confirm that they're able to start a coffin hurry-up, that would confirm the problem is definitely on my end.

Thanks!

it work great thank you so much  :otvclap:  can ou please make an update for amazon hunt and panthera led mod?

Amazon Hunt is not my table, only the script was based on my Fast Draw VP9 table, in which I used the amazon hunt rom.

I have already updated Panthera, but I'm waiting for VPX8 to be final before I upload it, together with the rest of my 236 VPX tables :)

stargate table ? i remember its your table the first one who made it in vpx its good tale but she need more lighting and colored playfield

Oh well, deleting the nvram didn't help.  But I did confirm that the inserts at the orbits do light up properly during Electric Chair multi-ball, so there's that.

@jpsalas It looks like Switch 53 (Electric Chair Opto) isn't hooked up on the playfield. This causes the problem @ryesteve is seeing.

I added it as a test and the Coffin Hurry-up works now.

The rules for this from what I know:

1. Hit a shot to light the arrow (easiest to test at grave)

2. Hit the snake, lights snake at that shot

3. Hit grave, lights grave at that shot (if not testing at grave, hit original arrow shot again to move arrow back)

4. Hit electric chair, lights chair at that shot, shot should flash all inserts

5. Hit shot again

6. Hit coffin

Not sure if it was a design choice to omit that switch, but if so, probably firing 53 and 35 at the same time would make the game work as intended (albeit harder, since you have to shoot the standup to get credit)

UPDATE

5.5.1 Updated 14.01.2025
- Added missing opto switch in front of the chair. Thanks ryesteve and Joeggernaut for reporting the problem.

I simply had forgotten to add that switch to the table :) I didn't understood what ryesteve was referring to, as I checked the lights again and again and they all were there. But there was a switch missing! :) Well, better late than never, here is the fixed table. Thanks Joeggernaut for finding out there was an opto missing in front of the chair. Sometimes it doesn't matter how many times you check all the switches :)

I'm 90% sure I have the right rom. I can add coins and I see the lights are active, but when I try to hit the number 1 key to start the game, nothing is happening.   I can add coins just fine though.  Not sure what to check or try to remedy this.  Thoughts?   Thank you in advance.

Even if you had the wrong rom, like the LE or premium, the game still should start. So the problem may be another one than the rom. Try first by deleting the nvram file, called mtl_180.nv, in you nvram folder. That will reset the rom.

I am setting up some pinball stuff for my dad but have run into an issue with this table only, I posted this in the reviews (before realizing there was a support thread....) My issue is that the skins or decals or whatever they are called are stuck in place. The flippers work just fine but the skins do not and I've tried just about everything I can think of. I have the correct ROM file, I would do a deep dive into the script if I had any idea what I was looking at but I'm at a complete loss.

You need to run with VPX 1.8.0, the latest official VPX version. The flippers and flashers will not work on an older version.

You may download VPX8 from here:

Visual Pinball X (Standalone EXE) - VPForums.org

Or better do a complete installation, as you will need to update other programs too, like vpinmame, flexdmd, b2s server...

VPX installer - VPForums.org

Having issues with running this table. Before i get fully into it, I'd like to start by saying im using (to my knowledge) vpx 1.8.0, for the rom i made sure to download the pro rom from the stern website, I compressed it into a zip file and renamed it mtl_180. and STILL im getting and error saying "Object Required: Controller". I have noo idea what im doing wrong

object required controller means it wasn't able to start visual pinmame. You want to download it from here for windows if you are running windows:

64bit with color rom support (color roms provided separately)  https://github.com/v...32e-win-x64.zip

32bit with color rom support (color roms provided separately)  https://github.com/v...32e-win-x86.zip

64bit vanilla https://github.com/v...32e-win-x64.zip

32bit vanilla https://github.com/v...32e-win-x86.zip

If you need it for a different OS or purpose, the links are under "assets"

Releases · vpinball/pinmame

Then leave your game rom zipped and named as needed, in the roms folder for visual pinmame

Oh, be sure to run setup for visual pinmame and test a rom after setup has installed the dll.
