Before you try to use UVP backglasses, make sure you have visited the Hyperpin forums and read through the installation guide and their help section in the forums: Hyperpin forums

After you have downloaded and installed the Hyperpin front end, follow the instructions in this thread on the Hyperpin Support forums: UVP setup How To

UVP backglasses only work with a properly configured Hyperpin installation.

Best Regards,
Todd.

Are you sure there isn't something else ? The DMD is off now, but I'm still not getting any scores on the backglass.

I added the timer:
name - leds.
timer enabled - yes.
time interval - 50

Changed the script:
hidden = 1

IN options timer
name = Leds
timer enabled = yes
timer interval = 50

I'm running about 90 VP FS tables through Hyperpin with UVP backglasses working perfectly. I have that part down. It's just getting the LED scores working on Black Pyramid,Xenon, and Firepower, giving me fits.

Try this at the end of the script

Sub Leds_Timer()
Dim ChgLED
ChgLED = Controller.ChangedLEDs(&Hffffffff, &Hffffffff)
End Sub

Cheers

It could be that the number of segments in each digit are incorrect. Double check the "default" pinmame display and count the segments and then edit the UVP server file to make sure that it's using the correct number of segments.

ie: if the default pinmame display uses 14 segments per digit, and the UVP server file is using 7 segments per digit you will run into display errors.

Todd.

I have all those tables working fine in a 2-screen UVP setup.

STEP ONE - enable UVP in script
CODE
'        Set Controller = CreateObject("VPinMAME.Controller")
    Set Controller = CreateObject("UltraVP.BackglassServ")

STEP TWO - click on the options icon and then the timer icon and then click beside the table to add a new timer
settings like this:

STEP THREE - add subroutine to script (at the end of the script)
CODE
Sub Leds_Timer()
    Dim ChgLED
    ChgLED = Controller.ChangedLEDs(&Hffffffff, &Hffffffff)
End Sub

STEP FOUR - add the info to the hyperpin database
CODE
<game name="BlackPyramid.uw.V1.0.FS">
<description>Black Pyramid (Bally 1984)</description>
<manufacturer>Bally</manufacturer>
<year>1984</year>
<type>SS</type>
</game>

and that should be it - i think Firepower is exactly the same.
Xenon i think already has all the code and timers setup - you just need to enable UVP in the dipswitches (hit F6)

No luck. I tried on each table and I keep getting a message popping up: Script Error Object doesn't support this property or method 'controller.changeLEDs'

Hello Community,

the table plays and looks good.... but I have the problem that the "Shoot Again"- light between the flipper arms is permanently illuminated. What must I do to bring it to correct operation?

I appreciate every hint.

Thanks, Christian.
