Keep on

1.3a is up.

Only bug I know of is if you are playing in cabinet mode with a plunger, the batting lever does not animate,

which doesn't make much sense because the Skill Gage animation still works and the same subroutine is called. :unknw:

Another plunger oddity, you need to use the keyboard to launch the ball the first time or the plunger

has no strength. After plunging once, its fine... :stunned:

Keep on getting this error when I enable B2S

@Pinballman

at first start i had this error, too.

To fix it, set in script :

Dim TensScore : TensScore = 1 'Used for Tens Reel Increment
Dim HndsScore : HndsScore = 1 'Used for Hundreds Reel Increment

To enable the b2s at second screen set
Dim B2SEnable : B2SEnable = 1 'Set to 0 to disable B2S

@tgx
found a typo in script: missing dot between B2S and Server
CreateObject("B2S Server")

I don't use B2S with this table because the layout doesn't

make sense to me. If you were to mimic the actual game the

playfield would be on what is most people's backglass in Portrait

mode and the backglass would be on the main screen.

I will fix the b2s issues in the next update, 1.4.

Some new stuff in next version as well,

-plunger lever will match the cabinet

-some work on flasher heights

-hopefully some fixes for the plunger problems

-Probably do some tweaks to the reels to give them

more depth so they don't look pasted on.

-I also wish the ball would spin.

****UPDATE: HSArray issues only pop up when B2S is enabled.

Sorry about the missing "." in B2S.Server, hard to see with that light blue font on white in the editor.

Okay I think I have the b2s sorted. Don't edit Tens/Hnds. It won't fix the underlying issue.

The issue is the order in which the variables are declared so I've had to shuffle some things

around in the script. I will release it later tonight along with some cosmetic tweaks after I have tested it on my main rig.

Thanks all for your patience.

This is amazing!  Thanks so much for your time.  It's a silly little game that we grew up playing at Funspot in NH.  20 runs would win you a token for a free pint glass.  Lots of memories.  Cheers!

I did some tweaking on the Playfield for myself.  I'm pretty handy with graphics, but not so much with scripts.

* Enhanced Colors

* New Base Area, Archway, Announcers, Molding

* New Rails, Gear Box, Wood Grain, Coin Mech., Button

* New Scoring, Instructions, Skill Gauge, RUNS/OUTS Text

* Added Shadows for Depth

If I can help with any more graphics for this or other projects, hit me up.  CHEERS!

You are quite the artist. Great job. Did you upload your wheel image in the wheels section of vpforums?

Almost ready to release 1.5 which I think will be my last iteration of it. I need to move on to other

projects in the works. :)

thank you tgx so much for this little gem !

and of course thanks to LoungeLizard for the graphics ! I imported the two playfields, looks better...

one nifty thing - when using a real plunger, the hitter doesn't move.  It works, but no animation.

but this is only a cosmetical point of view - no need to dig your head in it ;-)

Version 1.5 is out. This will be my last release of it barring any major bugs,

i have opened the table up for mods at this point. Enjoy and thanks to

everyone that contributed to make this one happen. There wasn't much

to start with.

Yes. I think I noted it above:

Sorry, I don't have a fix for it. I looked at it but no joy. Need a vpx guru to decipher that one. I think it has to do with the plunger value not being read as it is only

looking for keys. Might be able to hack it by messing with the skill gage and doing a rot on the primitive based on which skill trigger is being depressed.

Seems like you could read the plunger position but it doesn't seem to work no matter what I've tried.

I did find another niggle...arrgh. I have added a sound for if the plunger has no ball to hit which works lovely

except when the ball is in play and you swing with no ball loaded. It still makes the shot ball sound. I have

a fix I can upload but I'll wait for a little more feedback. Might have a 1.5a coming.

You can use the "Plunger.Position" function to animate the lever,

you have a value return from 0 to 25 and it works with digital or analog plunger.

For example a rotation of 90°, with the plunger without parking position,

Lever.RotZ = Plunger.Position/25*90

with parking position it is necessary to make further adjustments on the rotation angle and multiplier.

New version 1.6 is out.

I wasn't going to do anymore versions but....

Fixed the missing high score zero image

Fixed the errant plunger sound in certain cases

Added a new feature. Lounge Lizard just couldn't leave well enough

alone and kept iterating on his art. I was torn between originality and

awesomeness so I thought, hmm can we have both? Well it turns out

we can. There's a flag LL in the script you can set to toggle between the

two versions. A little more work to pull it off but I think it was worth it.

I'll look into it but that's the approach I was looking at before that wasn't yielding a result.

It did not seem to read Plunger.Position at all.

Spotted some graphic issues with High Score with LL=0

and some Playfield issues when in LL=1. I will address those

in the next update. I always see things when I switch from my

dev PC (smaller screen) to my cabinet.
