So, who wants to give the attached a try?

To try it out:

Take a copy of your current DOFLinx.exe

Unzip this one and replace your current DOFLinx.exe

Test away

Report back

Certainly working for me, but then the last one was as well, so keen to take a quick "depth check".  In the interim I'll get working on the IJTPA backglass.  I played the X3 game for the first time today, it triggered plenty of memories as I have the exact machine for 20 years.

For me it is working.

B2S running for all tables, except Indiana Jones of course. Plugins working

Effects running on all tables

Pinscape, LedWiz and Teensy MX working

Win10x64,Steam FX3

(But i am not loading with a front end... i am running a bat file to start everything instead of loading explorer.exe in registry...dont know if that matters for testing :) )

Thanks DDH69!

Only loading B2S is really slow (15 seconds) between table selection in fx3 grid. Once playing its fine.

But that was already BEFORE your update, maybe you have an idea where that is coming from?

Greetz, Tom

Thanks Tom.  I believe your flippers were working with the 7.43 release, is that correct?  Just checking if your test is a regression test or if you are a test case for previously not working.

Thats correct DDH69, they where working before.

I had the flipper keys at left and right shift configured in pinscape from the beginning.

Also i have no button inputs assigned but keyboard inputs only in pinscape.

@DDH69 thanks for the update, unfortunately having the same issue. Flipper solenoids not being recognized, but all others working.

If it helps, I am running my controls through x360ce and have the flippers mapped to the Xbox triggers in FX3.

Thanks again for your help!

Hi @DDH69,

I had the problem of the flippers not firing the solenoids with 7.43.  I've just tried out the beta for 7.44, and unfortunately it seems to have the same issue for me.  I tried with FX3 Attack from Mars and Back to the Future.   Everything else will properly fire off the solenoids, including the slingshots and back bumpers, but the flippers are not setting them off.

Please let me know if there is any debug data I can provide.   I am using a Virtuapin plunger controller on my modded Arcade1up cabinet.   VPX is working fine - all solenoids and SSF is good, and pre 7.43, the flippers were working in FX3 as well.

Is this a problem that has happened when you upgraded from V7.42 to V7.43 or something new you are trying to setup that has not worked as yet?  I am unfamiliar with x360ce and only work with and test direct keys for FX3.

Hmm  :twiddling:  ,  short answer is, I don't know, but if we can start with some basics than we'll get on with figuring this out ...

  1. Size of FX3.EXE on disk
  2. Photo / screenshot of keys setup for your FX3
  3. A short DEBUG.LOG, so delete DEBUG.LOG, set DEBUG=2 in your INI, run any game and play for 60 seconds or so, grab log and post (I'll PM you about this as well)

This is something that worked for me previously. It is just an Xbox controller emulator that works with the game controller settings in FX3. It stopped working only when I updated to 7.43.

I will be trying pinscape, but hopefully this can be solved!

Sorry, no flippers feedback - same like 7.43 -

Done and done!   I've forwarded the info through DM - really hope it is helpful!

@DDH69 I am also not getting flipper sounds or contactors firing after trying the 7.44 beta. I am using a KL25Z with pinscape. I made a custom controller config in Steam via using the pinscape controller. If I change my buttons to shift in my pinscape settings, everything works like it should.

As the weekend begins here in Oz I'm feeling mildly confident with this version.  Please test and either reassure me or shatter my illusions  :clnglasses:

It looks like I may have written down the wrong hex address and have been using that for a whole week, OMG  :stunned:

For those with Indiana Jones, I've almost got the B2S active backglass done.  If tis version works OK I will finish the backglass and associated config then release.  The ROM for FX3_indianajones is already loaded, so for those with MX leds download a new config set anytime.
