UPDATE

 

4.0.0 Updated 28.9.2022

- Updated to my VPX7 physics

- cleaned up and deleted unused graphics & reduced the size of the table

- Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darken the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.

- Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.

- Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.

- Some small small script updates, like the Rolling sound and PlaySoundAt routines.

- Made the light inserts warmer.

Amazing table! Super fast!!!!  Anyone else experiencing a locked ball not getting released / reset at the end of a game / start of a new game? I locked one ball but then lost the rest and the game was over but the locked ball remained and when I started a new game it was still there. This happened twice so it doesn't appear that releasing the ball is part of the end of game process (or something like that, as I'm not expert).

The balls are not released at the end of the game, but the next game will work fine, as the rom will know a ball is there and it will not start multiball until you have locked thee balls

The game is running smooth but I am getting no sound or music from the rom. Are there any volume keys I need to use (try the usual ones but could not get any result)

I guess you simply need a newer rom. Try downloading it from vpuniverse, they use to have the latest dumps. The default rom is flight2m.zip.

Thanks, I found flight2mb on vpu and the table seems to be working with it and I have sound and speech

5.5.1 Updated 15.03.2025

Modifications made by Themer to add support for the rom flight2mb

-Added flight2mb as an additional option to the list of predefined ROM sets

-Added a timer to kicker 5 to disable the switch after 100 milliseconds, such that flight2mb triggers the ball walker.

-Added sub procedures to automatically switch the solenoids used for the ball walker based on the ROM set and dipswitch 14.

-Corrected the switch for the right outlane (which was assigned to the center outhole instead of the right outlane).

Is there a way JP to still have version 4.0 available for d/l? ? I'm not sold on 'updating' every table to be VPX8 ???

Sorry JP - only 5.5.0 and 5.5.1 available.  No version 4.0's on VPF.......?
