Thx for the bit on the multiple devices...

Yes, Zaccaria uses the Enter key as my plunger button works for it....It just doesn't seem to recognise the plunger...

I'm stuck at that point.  Clearly they are being sent.  As I said, depending on how the emulator is written it just might not work.

not sure what controller you have but

if you have any inputs free, put a small leaf or microswitch on the tip of the plunger.
Map it to send the Enter key, or if you have an enter key button already, just wire it in parallel to it

when you push the plunger forward all the way, it will press the enter key and launch the ball

You could do it so it works when you pull the plunger all the way back, but forward is probably easier to assemble.

A leaf switch is probably going to be more forgiving of you bashing the plunger into.

Adjust it so that a nomal plunger pull and release does not trigger it.

that is one way you could do it

Another is, use x360ce version 3.x , if zacarria pinball will load an xinput dll

x360 will see your controller, and you can map the plunger axis to a key instead, and it will only do it for zacarria

joy2key might be another option, though the x360 is automatic as zacarria loads the xinput dll when it runs and unloads it when it exits

just use the x360ce 3.x version not the 4.x version which is global and runs 24/7

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

I can't get any dof commands to work with Zaccaria with doflinx.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

So currently we have no native dof support.

I see posts about Dof effects and mame, would that be something I can look into for Zaccaria or better to just wait and see what happens?

Correct, there are no cabinet toys with the Zaccaria emulator.  The process from my side is relatively straight forward.  We do need Zaccaria to make contact and provide some input.  Feel free to join the growing number of voices contacting them and asking them about this.  Feel free to point them to this thread ...... I'm not hard to contact

Thanks for trying.  I struggle to understand why vendors don't engage with the community for a free kick on their product.  We'd love to add full force feedback and active backglasses at no cost to them.

I know this is an old thread, but Steam forums suggested they may have started cooperating with you on getting this done, any updates to share?

They have said yes (a little while ago) after many asked.  We're still waiting for development to start.

Do feel free to hop on their Discord and ask "when"?  Nothing like some encouragement.
