I don’t see why to bother with this when we have the Skitso mod available. Superior in every aspect.

Then do not play it?

This is a thread for issues with the table, not your personal opinions

Perhaps show us your tables that you have created?

For one, Bigus1 has not created one single table. He only modifies others and in some cases takes the full credit for it. Like Judge Dredd.

There is a known issue with gumball on the version that is used as a base here.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Right :love39:

Do I dare to ask, what is bullshit by what I just posted ?

Judge Dredd (Bally 1993) 2.3 ? Where is that Bigus1 mod naming scheme ?

or is it the fact that we got nFozzy to help us fix the gumball ?

I can't help it, but, both statements is true.

I might not get everything right, but nothing I do is a deliberate attempt to take credit or steal anything or defraud anyone, and you're just here to try and promote your buddies and discredit me.  Same old bullshit. And you know it.

Well Judge Dread says

Big thanks to Dozer for using his work to build upon, and also to
BrandonLaw for the new playfield and graphic enhancements.
Updated script with SSF from Thalamus
Full rebuild based on my previous mod.

So it says he is only modding it and it came from other people, as well as stuff he used in it came from other people, including you
at least that is what i read it as

Not to mention, the table script says right in it, that someone else initially made the table as well as crediting a lot of other

people for this and than, including you.

:(

No Bigus. I'm just pointing at facts. Promote my friends ? I don't have enemies, even though, you keep coming back with that statement.

Weisshund said that djlunbox should show the table he created. Fact is. Bigus1 has never created a table, he has modified tables. That is the fact. I agree though, his comment wasn't really needed, but you can't defend bigus1 saying otherwise.

Wording and title of Judge Dredd is insinuating that he created this table. He, I admit, improved on it, but it is still a mod. Never had to figure out any of the mechanics, switches or anything by himself. He should have, like he normally does, clearly mark it as a mod. Actually, without vpforum denying authors to delete their own work. We might never have had Judge Dredd available unless Bigus1 had it downloaded a long time ago and had something to build from.

Practically every table released is built upon earlier versions and probably most authors started by modding. I'm one of the very few that uses the MOD category and, based upon the method that most people use, and if I make very extensive changes, I may not call it a mod - just like Theatre of Magic. But that's completely different, no doubt, because it involves people you like to suck-up to, plus whatever other bullshit excuse you can invent to justify it being ok. Also, I have released a few tables with no less extensive changes than would justify listing myself as a primary author as per the many many examples on this site and yours. Godzilla, Barb Wire and Tag Team come to mind.

It's time you abandon this stupid vendetta. I won't just keep taking your guff and hypocrisy and I've got plenty of ammo if you want to keep on down that path.

I know nothing about creating or modding tables. All I know is that I’m always excited to see a Bigus mod. Most times, all other versions are eliminated from my cab. Thank you Bigus!

Well, then i have never technically created a table either, cause i can not do the artwork from scratch on my own.
I dont have the photoshop skills for it.

Actually, without vpforum denying authors to delete their own work. We might never have had Judge Dredd available unless Bigus1 had it downloaded a long time ago and had something to build from.

Confused there?
It lets me delete my tables, maybe in the past it did not?

I don't see the problem, personally. It doesn't appear that Bigus is taking credit for others' work, but if someone doesn't like what Bigus does, it's easy to see which mods are his and bypass them. Does the community want to limit the number of options for each table, for some reason?

What if someone else in the community can make a small modification, one that's less than a full rebuild of a table. With backlashes like these, will they even bother? The sniping I see makes it all feel more exclusive and less welcoming, and the community suffers as a result. My two cents.

My only complaint is that if someone downloads 500 tables and tweaks a few lights. Then uploads them as mods, there are now 1000 tables available. Now the community has to figure out which is better has the best features. I understand if I don't want his tweaks, then move on past. But, I would rather have ONE amazing table with all the best options available and tweaks. I would rather the community work as a team and make the best version of a table regardless of who started it and who made the final tweaks.

Also, these tables is now forked and efforts are now split. That is my 1 1/2 cents.

Buillshit?

In what way? To start you always use a janky old buggy version of a able to mod. You never use a most recent release. Why becasue you can't improve on whats already great. Skitso's mod is head and shoulders above your mod and thats facts.

I can and have done much better mods than your little lighting tricks. And don't EVEN think you're in the same category as Fleep or the other contributors to TOM or any of the VPW mods that have been released. Cuz I can already see a lame Bigus Mod of Bad Cats or Spiderman or Dr Dude.

You take credit where it's not yours, you blatantly use tables without permission. Why is it again that your mods aren't on Vpinball?

No the only bullshit are the so so lighting enhancements you do

I have an invitation to join VPW in my inbox - seems they don't share your view of my skills. I'm not trying to compare myself with anybody. And I choose not to publish at VPB because of the idiot trolls like yourself that attack me constantly when I do. The rest of your comments are straight-up bullshit too. Anyway, the tribe has spoken and my releases fly out the door. Nobody is forced to download and if they were as crappy as you say, then I guess that wouldn't happen.

So, you keep telling yourself how much better you are and I'm sure the happy-clapping Generals will agree and give you a pat on the back for being so clever.

Calm down guys. There are bigger problems in this world.

@bigus1
To avoid this comments, why do you not share your mods with the original author?
He can insert them in his table and release it. And he give you credit for the changes.

And if the original author don't like your changes, you can release them with a notice.

Please guys, let's make some peace on this issue. Nothing is gained by being at each others throats. This hobby and this forum is one of few good things happening right now in spite of all the rest that kind of sucks about Covid and what it has disrupted for the entire planet.  I'll say this that I'm appreciative of anyone who contributes because the skill level it takes to contribute is much more than I actually have at the moment as a simple consumer of what you all make and design.  I'm placing 1 vote here for peace where we have common interest for the good of advancing this super cool hobby.  Have a good Holiday everyone. I do appreciate all of you.
