Punch It!

I never got one of these installed on my cab but I had the plaque 3D printed for it (from Star Trek)

Hey Fren! Yeah, I finally drilled a hole in the lockdown bar a few months ago, after talking about it for years and years

Lol, I think only 2-3 tables supported it without any script mods. I wil switch this over to RGB led now so need to figure that out next

gtx Joe I am currently updating all the dof to account for the RBG fire button.  I am trying to make the colors match the side MX strips and or make them look good for the table colors.  Thanks for compiling all of this.  had a couple questions.

1. i set my plunger ke and lockbar key to both enter.  the reason i did this is because at night, i dont have to make a bunch of noise pulling a plunger back and firing it.  during normal play, my fire button being lit tells me not to use the plunger but use the fire button/launch button on my lockdown bar.  If you do this, i dont have to update all the scripts and change plunger to lockbar on the key up and key down.

2.  found some issues with 2 tables so far

The Walking Dead LE

Script change add (Keydown sub):
    If keycode = LockBarKey Then Controller.Switch(71) = 1

Script change add (Keyup sub):
    If keycode = LockBarKey Then Controller.Switch(71) = 0

DOF change OPTIONAL (Fire Button):  W52 m10000 Blink fu500 fd600/W23 Blink fu500 fd600  (W23 is the plunger lane switch but this table has a regular plunger i think)

Mustang LE (Action Button)
Script change add (Keydown sub):
If Keycode = LockBarKey Then Controller.Switch(71) = 1

Script change add (Keyup sub):
If Keycode = LockBarKey Then Controller.Switch(71) = 0

DOF change OPTIONAL (Fire Button):    L141|L142|L143|L144  (there is no lights L141-144 in the script.  where did these come from?  is it L41-44?)

Mustange LE

Yes, Mustang LE has a real plunger.  But it also has Action/Fire button (Switch 71) which will auto-plunge the ball.  The Walking Dead LE and Star Trek LE has the same behavior.

Since you took the easy way out and mapped your fire button to the plunger button, you get the analog plunger behavior and not the Fire button behavior (switch 71) for these Stern LE tables which is autolaunch

What is L142-L144?  The Mustang LE real pinball machine has an RGB fire button that is ROM controlled, it uses L142 - L144 to control the fire button color.  It is not used on any playfield insert.  In the Rom Service Menu, you can go to Lamp test and go to lamps 142-144

For Mustang, use this for DOF RGB fire button config:    @rgbsplit@ L144|L142|L143

When you start the game use the right flipper to cycle through the cars.  You will get White for the white car, Yellow for yellow car, Red for red car, since there are 3 blue cars it uses Green, Purple and Blue.

Since you mapped fire button to plunger button, maybe for the Stern tables, you map the plunger button to switch 71 instead of the analog plunger Pullback and Fire methods.  Hopefully you have a real analog plunger

EDIT:  For Star Trek LE, you want to use DOF RGB Fire button config:   @rgbsplit@ L78|L77|L76

This color of the fire button will match the Mission color

The Walking Dead LE is not working as I expect, I am going to reach out to @DJRobx.

Walking Dead LE

DOF RGB Fire button config:  @rgbsplit@ L120|L121|L122

During game attract, the Fire button cycles through all RGB colors.  Red for ball launch.  Yellow for Crossbow fire if I remember right

AC/DC

DOF RGB Fire button config:  @rgbsplit@ L59|L60|L61

Note:  I don't think the button is RGB.  Only L59 turns on/off, so I guess you could just use:  L59 <whatever color you want>

can you explain what this code does @rgbsplit@ L120|L121|L122

This Dof config line allows you to map 3 RGB Light signal outputs from the rom to an DOF RGB toy.  Order is Red|Green|Blue:  @rgbsplit@ L120|L121|L122

Star Trek LE

I sent my DOF script updates to arngrim to add to the DOF site, so it will be a little bit easier for the new people to add the Fire button support

Terminator 3 and Kingpin also could use the Fire button

FYI - I worked with arngrim to upload default DOF Fire button and RGB Fire button configurations for all the tables mentioned to the DOF config tool site.

Since DOF site is updated, I will revise the first post  in the next day or two to only contain the table script changes needed to get the fire button working.

I found a few more tables to cover:

Terminator 3

Aaron Spelling

Junkyard Cats

Kingpin

Bladerunner 2049

Gemini 2000

Goonies

The Web

Champions League

Flipper Football

Hi-Score Pool

Masters of the Universe

Metal Slug

Minions

Mortal Kombat
