Pinscape, my plunger, Virtuapin plungers, it's the same bug across all gamepads.   Something in the way FP interfaces with the controller applet in windows in the settings screen of FP requires the native language of windows to be set to english.  Without that you have no access to the analog axis in the drop down menu.

 

It's been that way since day one.

 

 

I wonder.... if this is merely the "Game Keys and Controls" in FP that has the issue... and if someone edited the FP settings in the registry manually, if that could get around this.

 

If someone switched to English... made the changes needed, then switched back to their language, and never made changes to controls after that.... or if they just imported the registry keys needed for just the AXIS settings.

That is what i am wondering.

If someone could show what an Xbox controller and/or generic game pad would look like after FP saves it
I'd like to give it a try and see

Hi together, I just want to tell you my experience. I run in same problems not showing pinscape axes in Future Pinball (BAM)

It was a nice clean installation (new Win10 setup and Terrys Mega Guide (Bam  all in one installer)

 

What heps for me... (I came from Germany so sytem language German)

Set system languige for Windows and Keyboard  to English!!!!!

After System restart XYZ - Axes were available!

A little late to the game here but change your default language in windows to english, any other language will cause these symptoms.

FP has the nudge keys reversed.  I use a simple PC setup so I just exchanged the 2 keys.  TerryRed can tell you how to fix your cab.

Thats not correct, as I described in my documentation in detail, the whole nudging in FP works in the only way when windows is changed to english display language. The frickeling by replacing the directinput.dll does not work in newer windows versios. That's a system dll.
