The 1st time I tried it was on my desktop using a keyboard works fine

I just installed it on my cab and with the keyboard it Works fine

But the cab buttons all seem to work except for player start

I use 1 for player start

I use a Ipac2 for the keyboard interface

I also use an IPac2 for the Buttons, and Standard 1 and 5 Key ( keycode 2 and 6 ) for Start and Coin,
it works well at my PC - and Cab, and as i said, i also changed VPMKeys.

I'm on the latest VPX and latest VPM, had the script already and for me the table worked right away. I used 5 for coin and 1 to start.

Enjoyable - so thanks once again.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I am at the same Status, all the latest Versions

Give it a try with VPMKeys and Change Coin1/2 to 6/7 … btw. Value 6 is for Key "5"

keyInsertCoin1 = 6 '(3) Insert coin in slot 1
keyInsertCoin2 = 7 '(4) Insert coin in slot 2
keyInsertCoin3 = 6 '(5) Insert coin in slot 3
keyInsertCoin4 = 7 '(6) Insert coin in slot 4

I only have to wait for some of the Coins and Register that.

Tried that, no success. Will later try on my cap PC and will supplement the result here. On this system it works, it is equipped with the IPAC2. I do not understand that?!?!?

Now I copied the nvram with 9 credits from my cab to my lab and must see that the start button (1) does also not work.

I haven't changed anything in the vbs files. I simply copied the inder_centaur.vbs in the scripts folder (which I already have it there from the centaur table mfuegemman made) And I copied the latest the latest vpinmame.dll to the vpinmame folder. I never run setup.exe when I update vpinmame, I simply copy it, and it works.

I guess you have all the new vbs files from VPX.6.

The only thing I know is that the rom won't work fine on a older vpinmame.

Thank you JP! Is there a possibility to set the game to 5 ball operation?

I did figure it out and did get the work sort of
My ipac2 is from this year...
I use the ipac2 shift for number 1

I Have to double tap the start button to get the game to start

For instance if I use a keyboard and tap number one fast does nothing But if I tap number one fast for a different SS game it works

It appears that the Rom is so slow it's not getting the single long enough to react

Because with the shift button the signal is only like thousands of a second Or do you Pinballers have a newer ipac2 but don't use the shift for number 1

F6 for menu

yes and now I have a better understanding what is going on with this table - none of the keyboard inputs effects, no 1, no 5 and no F6, but why???

I continued testing, ... I can pull the plunger, but cannot release it. The stroke runs to its end.

Thank you for your patience with me.

I had the same! The IPAC2 comes default with shift1, go into the configuration menue of the IPAC and untick the respective box. The negative effect I had was: I could not start not any MAC (Spain) SS table.

After my first installation of this table I also can't do something. There's no error after starting the table. So I change the keys in the vbs. No change. Nothing works.
Then I take a look, if I had the right ROM. And I see, there's no ROM.
Download it and everythings works. I have thought, that there is always an error, if the ROM is missing. So I don't look in the folder, to see, if it's there.
My table now works with the keys set to 6 7 6 7.

1.1.0 Updated 10.01.2020
- changed the rubber switch numbers of the rubber around the bumpers and behind the droptargets, according to the findings of Gaston.
- changes by Pmax65 in the inder_centaur.vbs which we have changed the name to inder_skateboard.vbs to no not break the Centaur table.

Hi Mike,

DIP switch analysis is a tiresome thing. You can try it for Yourself and come back with the results. I think JP will add the new settings to the table, once You forward them.

I already identified the following settings:

Dip 3+4  Max Credits

Dip 9+10  Handycap

Dip 11+12  2nd Replay

Dip 13+14  1st Replay

Dip 20  3/5 Balls

Dip 21  Play Music

Dip 23  Show Handycap

Dip 24  Free Games on Handycap

Just start with a standard DIP switch menu (see Destruk's tutorial) and study the behaviour of the coin chutes with different settings.

Please keep in mind that even if a manual exists, the Dip switch numbers may still be different.

Regards

Michael
