I banned Tom Tower, of all people, for SELLING OUR CONTENT ON DVD.

 

Somehow, I ended up being the bad guy in that scenario.

 

It's not as easy as it seems to be an admin.

It is not the question to be a good or a bad guy. You are not always able to save individuals from their own doing. It is normal that the interest of individuals must take second place to the interests of the community. I dislike to see a case like that myself too, but there was no other choice. I trust you that every option was taken into the careful consideration and that the best solution was chosen.

I once more repeat that this sensitive subject to protect free software is of a natural and self explaining vital interest and should every time be protected.

I enjoy his reviews and have watched all of his tutorials. I agree with the other posters opinions but think now that he has issued an apology and taken down the members section I am willing to move on. His original content is good for newbies like myself and will lead to more users, downloads, cabinet builds etc. if Frenchy had pushed back or coped an attitude I would feel differently, but he didn’t.
