Sorry my mistake ..

 

If i check the backglass screen running from PinballX its grayed out

But if i run the Table directly from VPX it is not grayed out

Lets try this for FX3

Try running FX3 outside of pinballx and see if the lights will work

i ran FX 3 on its own .. No lights coming on

I used your inI file on my test machine

I was able to get a much bigger log by following the directions below

 

Clear the DOFLinx.log

Run FX3 outside of pinballx

run a game for a short time - You should be getting a bigger log

I agree with Outhere.

 

I can't see a process activating DOFLinx in the LOG you posted.  Are you running the Steam version of Pinball FX3?

 

Again, with DEBUG=1 and DOFLinx visible, when FX3 is running, you can right click on the DOFLinx windows and get a list of the processes running.  In your INI file, the line PROCESSES= has Pinball FX3, this shuld be on the list brought up in this test window.

I cleared the log

Ran Pinball FX3 - Back to the Future

But it didnt generate any logs

@DDH69 yes i am running Stream version of FX3

 

I got it working by running DOFLinx.exe first then starting Pinball FX3

 

Although i did do the following and restarted the PC

 

properties of the DOFLinx start-up shortcut to have “PATH_INI=C:\DirectOutput\DOFLinx_INI\ DISABLEDOF=YES” 

 

But somehow its not starting DOFLinx.exe

Where do you have the shortcut?

You must have missed that part DOFLinx needs to be running in the background So when you start a program it finds it

 

For a short time here just started DOFLinx after you boot your computer

when version 7.0  DOFLinx comes out it will not need to run as administrator - so you will be able to put shortcut in your windows start up folder

 

Make a shortcut (Without this - PATH_INI=C:\DirectOutput\CONFIG\ DISABLEDOF=YES) of the the DOFLinx.exe, Then start DOFLinx, Then start FX3 - Do your lights work?

Target: C:\DirectOutput\DOFLinx.exe

Start In: C:\DirectOutput

Comment: PATH_INI=C:\DirectOutput\config\ DISABLEDOF=YES

OK will remove the Comment from the Start UP shortcut

 

Yes the lights work but when i run PinballX or PinballY on some table the matrix comes on and on some it doesnt (Especially the FX3 Tables)

Ok .. Didnt know that. Hopefully version 7 will do the trick

When i scroll through the tables do all tables have effect on Matrix? As some dont. Am i missing some set up for those tables?

I got all the B@S backglass for FX3 and placed them in C:\DirectOutput\FX3_B2S and all are visible

Some tables will use the matrix more than others

Sometimes running programs as admin will cause more problems

On my cab I run all sorts of things and the only thing I have running as admin is DOFLinx.exe and that will change with the next release
