Thanks a lot!

Here also a new VPM 3.2 beta build to align with this release (thanks to Gaston for tweaking the Spinball emu): https://www.vpforums...ic=27063&page=1

@toxie: does this solve the locked balls not getting released, when pressing plunger key?

Also something strange : in the magnetic house the ball is always taken in the "bleu quarter" and never in the pink and green ones (they are useless??)

And it's quite difficult to complete the 3 locks because each time the ball comes again/often in the same ones. Normal??

The "looping" works also strangely: when strike in it the ball often come back directly. Normal?

I guess you need to press the Magna Save buttons to activate the magnets so you can try to get the ball in the other holes. And yes, the magnets work. :) The ball falls there randomly, sometimes will go to the left and other times will go to the right.

The loop is hard to hit but not that hard. I have locked many balls during play testing.

u should change line 48 to

if B2SOn = true then VarHidden = 0

to have the DMD

Yes, I'll fix that in the next revision. The script was for older tables with the score lights on the backdrop, and I forgot to remove it. I only play desktop version, so sometimes I forget things :)

Thank for your reply, I didn't notice I can use magnosave button :D

Sorry my english isn't good enough, I was talking about the blue circle chart of the wheel. Until now my balls are always taken by the blue circle chart hole of the wheel and never by the pink and green ones.

That's because it always start rotating at the same speed, but if you play multiball then the other holes will be used too.

UPDATE:

1.0.1
- Added ball rolling sound
- Enabled the DMD in FS/DB2S

Just 2 small fixes :)

Great table. I did run into a problem. It was ball three. I had a ball locked in the red hole of the magnet save. I had a ball locked in the middle shot (ball captive) I then fired a second ball up the middle, the ball when to the right where it would be held captive, but the ball just laid on top of the other captive ball, and remained stuck.

Waiting for machine to fire and fix, it did release the red magnet ball, but when that ball drained, nothing was registered as lost, and the game was stuck, and needed to be restarted.

That should not happen, I'll check the code. I used destruk's code because it was more sure that it should work 100%. I guess the kicker didn't catch the ball and it went to the right instead of to the left. I did use inclined ramps in my first attempts to get that working 100%, but in the end I used a simple kicker to send the ball left or right, as destruk used in his table, since it was more sure to be working all the time. Well, we all know that air balls and VP don't work very well :) And the loop is a real loop, no fake kickers there :)

What specifically do we need to copy from these files into our existing folder? Copying over whole batches of files always freaks me out, especially when you've sunk so much time into something and are terrified of screwing something up.

UPDATE 1.0.2:

- changed the way the ball is sent on the bridge to the right or left, as the last method wasn't very reliable due to air balls. Now it uses a trigger instead of a kicker.

The real table uses a kind of ramp that can change its inclination, but I didn't managed to get it working 100%, so I opted to use destruk's method, but this wasn't 100% working due to VP's air balls being a little unpredictable :) And since the loop is a real loop, made of 3 ramps, so the ball won't always fall on to the bridge at the same spot. So I used now a wide trigger on the bridge which will always catch the ball and send it left of right depending on the solenoid and if there is already a locked ball.

About the new vpinmame beta 3.2: the rom still doesn't release the locked balls on the magnetic house at the end of the game when you press "fire" to end the game, as the solenoid don't get activated and the message "bola perdida" pops up. Otherwise that lock works well during the game. So if you get that error "bola perdida" simply press F3 to reset the rom and game, you'll get a message to insert the balls, but the rom releases the balls and you are ready to play again. I wonder if this is an error of the rom, maybe there is a newer rom than the one we have?

And the last UPDATE for today :)

1.0.3
- added a random delay when stopping the Wheel, so the blue hole not always catches the ball :) That's just a cosmetic change.

PS: this is the last update for now :)

Another Way could be, yo add a Script - based Ball Release at the End of the Game, i think you know what i mean,
but of Course it should be 100% ROM controlled.

I tried that, and it doesn't work. The rom don't accept those balls, the rom completely ignores them. I have tried add them manually to the trough and delete them from the holes, but it doesn't work either.

Akiles asked a friend to dump the roms from his Jolly Park, and Gaston checked the rom and it is the same. But Gaston is still working finding a solution though vpinmame.

The Spinball logo is on the apron, in its center :)

It is also at the bottom of the flyer:

I know the logo in the flyer is very bad quality, but the one in the apron is quite good.
