It seems like you simply do not setup solenoid 31 in the same way as the original ROM did it. It's not a major issue, but if it would then the VPX table version could use similar tricks (less latency button input handling) as with the original ROM.

Yep, the desired behavior for VP is to turn Solenoid 31 on when the flippers should be active (the original ROM does this).   That lets us bypass VPM to run the flippers, which improves responsiveness.

I've changed the flippers definition, please check again in VPX.

And is Demolition Man available as a table for VPX ? Can someone test it then with the Demolition Time freewpc rom if that works correct ?

http://www.vpforums....s&showfile=9615

If it does then I can check James' code. If not then it's maybe somewhere in the freewpc kernel, more difficult to do then..

Now it's also always freeplay :)

Been testing a bit the last days. Still some things I want to change, found some bugs with (whirlpool) modes not running correct..

And sometimes it crashes when a ball gets locked but I don't find the exact cause, can't replicate it. It seems random or dependent on something I haven't found yet (like what mode was played before or is also available)
