An update on the progress, still slow going. Changes: jukebox modelled and added lights for it and in addition to the GloBall: GloBats!  :clnglasses: For those who like their tables dark, but still would like to play.

This is what gave me that idea: http://www.ministryo...5/_/_/__571.jpg

So in VPX:

Forgot to mention in the first post: table will be built upon Tamoore's VP9 table, so it will include B2S support, same as Tamoore's version. Next update will take a couple weeks, since I will be away from my computer for 2 weeks... (on holiday)

You have a really good eye for knowing how to make 3D made elements look good in VPX.  Thanks for raising the bar.

I can totally dig the new "Glow Bats" !!!! The "Glow Ball" rocked enough already, but then you took it to 11..... I've wanted to try something similar on AFM (or insert whatever other table) with these..  well done!!

Glowbats!? Absolutely brilliant. Why didn't I think of that, and suggest them to you to build for us?! You're cutting out the totally unskilled middle-man, Flupper!

Is it possible to use these glow items on other tables?  For example, the BK2000 glow ball is awesome.  I would like to use that on other tables.   If so, can someone tell me the process?

I isolated the code for the glowball in this demo table:

https://mega.nz/#!MUJGTL5A!uUG8U-KfFLGCBTDSKkHGSDknAzFbmPd_MuqNnsK5Uto

The additions are:

Lines 1-88 and lines 458-475

9 green lights on layer 6

the textures as mentioned in the beginning of the script (like "blueball2" in the image manager)

Limitations:

The current code follows the ball on three heights, when 10.2 is released this code will be simpler (and you will only need 3 lights on layer 6)

The limit is three balls with glowlight, this can be more (add more lights on layer 6 and some code changes)

The code in lines 458-475 require a running timer or something like "Set MotorCallback = GetRef("RollingUpdate")" from BK2k

Thanks, Flupper!

If anyone gets glowball running on another table by importing code and images, I'd love to hear about your process.

Sounds like we're gonna need slider bars (just like the night day slider bar) for glow ball and glowbats in VP10.2/10.3!

Thanks for the information Flupper1.  I am going to play with this on the weekend.  I am not really a coding type of person, but I will give it a shot and report back to the forum.

Just to let you know I am still working on this: I am back from my holiday and started again on Diner. I finished the GlowBat code and added two more colors. Also made GlowBalls in the same colors to go with the GlowBats. All are options in the beginning of the script. And added the wireramp. Not a huge update, but still:
