For this I would refer to mjr pinscape build guide. It covers basically everything about building a cabinet.

Great question all my son and I just built our first cabinet with a high end pc/gpu and 2 4k monitors and a dmd. I was wondering about sound I bought two pioneer car speakers and 4 exciters. Do I really need an amp or can I just by speaker to mini plug cables and connect directly to my 7.1 ports on my Asus x570-e gaming motherboard?

Each of the 7.1 outputs on your motherboard is in MP3 format and requires an amplifier to drive the speakers.  My cab has three ZK-MT21 amplifiers purchased on EBAY.

Originally used three LP-838 amps but replaced them due to scratchy controls and cheap connectors that kept falling apart.

This thread should be seriously updated. Most of the links are dead. I'm a noob or I'd doo it myself, but I don't know where to find a lot of the info. I got to this thread from Pinscape build guide, but it's basically worthless as of now. Cheers.

This topic should be updated also for current dimension of VPin they are wider now. Specially if you want something as accurate as possible.
Using a 46" should be a standard now? (to fit a lot of table). (even if it's still shorter than a regular pinball).

Pinball dimensions (inside):

* WPC and BALLY (1987 on) - standard = 20.50" (50.8cm) x 46.00"  (116.84cm)
* WPC - superpin WIDEBODY standard = 23.25" (59.055cm) x 46.00" (116.84cm) ---> Maybe a better choice for for a 46"? (feedbacks)

Screen dimensions:

46" SCREEN (16/9) :
Diagonal 116,8 cm / 46.0 inches
Lenght 101.8 cm / 40.1 inches
Width 57.3 cm / 22.5 inches

43" SCREEN (16/9) :
Diagonal 109.2 cm / 43 inches
Lenght 95.2 сm / 37.5 inches
Width 53.5 cm / 21.1 inches
