This table is even better with the PinSound music file from the pinsound community forum!

I just discovered pinsound, really great! Especially with this table  :otvclap:

Not sure to understand how it works... Do you guys have a link for a How-to guide?

Great job Nino!

The left slingshot is not fully functional because a part is covered by rubber.

Thanks

Max

It's not hard, you need the latest vpinmame of course.

Then download the audio files from

http://pinsound-comm...ds&showfile=122

Now create an "altsound" folder inside the VP directory. Inside the altsound create a folder with the same name of the rom (tomy_400) and extract the files so the folder has this structure:

Untitled-1+copy.png

When you start the table press F1 and change "sound mode" to 1

Thanks kiwi, will be fixed in the next release ;)

Oh yes, you are right, my vpiname.dll is inside the visual pinball folder, not a separate folder, that's why ;)

He ninuzzu, move the left rail one step to the right and the space between the rail and the playfield close.

I'm still a bit confused how to change the music for this table.  I have the audio files from pinsound and created a folder titled "altsound" and a separate folder titled "tomy_400" inside the "altsound" folder.  I have the the folders and audio files from pinsound, the same as you have shown above.

When I start the table and press F1, I don't see an option for "sound mode".

Where do I change the sound mode?

I also placed the "altsound" folder inside the vpinmame folder, but still don't see where to tell the table to change sound mode.

Here is what I see when I press F1 while table is loaded:

When I run vpinmame setup, it says I have version 2.7.  Do I want to uninstall 2.7 and install 2.6?

The 2.7beta in the link has SoundMode support. Install it over your current VPinMAME.dll. You also need bass.dll in the same folder.

I'll give it a go, but which 2.7 beta do I want to install?  There are several in the top of the beta thread:

Which file do I want in order to see Sound mode support?

You have to download pinsound studio (and leave it open) Download the soundpacks from http://pinsound-community.org/ and use the program to connect the soundpackage to the right rom you use. I found it easy to do

Pinsound studio is not needed, you need the latest vpinmame

http://www.vpforums....attach_id=23693

Then create the altsound folder in the vpinmame folder (if you have installed vpinmame on a separate folder, I have vpinmame in the visual pinaball folder), create the tomy_400 folder and put the files inside it.

Soundmode option is only in the latest vpinmame

The PinSound Studio has the advantage over the regular method using "1" that the volume control is better. So just try it what you like the best.

Can you change the volume using the "1" setting?  Mine comes up pretty low.
