The table plays smooth but the left gator target wouldn't drop again no matter how many times I hit it after I initially dropped it.

It looks like a failure reset of the targets bank,

if the target does not fall down more, I think you have to replace the Nvram file "surfnsaf" , find it inside the zip.

Thanks!!! to all for the nice compliments and nice words.

Personally I love these tables with rails. I know not everyone does, but I hope to see more of them. Dirty Harry Shiny Mod is another great example.

Do you have the rails turned on or off in the script?

It is normal to be tight, in Backdrop you can try increasing the Y-scale (FS column) but it may be that the ball does not retain the correct proportions (not round, squashed or stretched), VPX renders differently than VP9.
You have to find the right setting for not deforming the ball.

Good work, this is a nice table!

For desktop, I made the following global changes:

Table Slope: 5.76, Pf Friction: 0.064, Pf Elasticity: 0.2, Df Scatter: 0

I could really use faster flippers(with the same strength) but I don't know how to do this yet.

I'm also getting too much rebound off the rear side of the slings, which tends to knock the ball into the outlane. I don't know how to fix this either, because for some weird reason, there are 3 slingshot objects, and I don't know which one to change elasticity for.

Since I used the playfield raised, to change the friction go in the editor, selects the wall "PlayFM" (click in the middle of the table where there are no lights), currently the friction is 0.06.

Rubber3 and rubber6 is what you are looking for, are the pegs of the rear side of the slings.
If for fast, you mean flippers with faster response, try to decrease the "Coil Ramp Up" property panel of flippers.

Ok, Playfield Friction reduced to 0.062, PlayFM friction set to 0.061 and Flipper Coil Ramp Up values set to 2.

Getting less center drains this way, plus better flow. I'll try out some settings with the rear of the slings later, thanks!

The Playfield Friction (Backdrop) has no effect on the behavior of the ball, because the playfiel is raised,

you must change only the friction of the PlayFM wall.

This is naturally more difficult than the VP9 version, but that is to be expected. My high scores have all been cut in half, thanks alot VP 10 developers!!!!

What is actually troublesome with this table now though is how frequently shots to the Arcade standup are causing rebounds off the top of the right sling into the right outlane. I have tried numerous ways to prevent this, but nothing is working. Any suggestions?
