I know I am an idiot and missing something....but someone has to hjave an idea  to my post above.   :)

You need to use the Sinbad MOD as explained here http://www.vpforums....338#entry335818

I grabbed the table and renamed my direct.b2s but get a version error.  Does this work with VP 10.2?

ub LoadCoreVBS
    On Error Resume Next
    ExecuteGlobal GetTextFile("core.vbs")
If Err Then MsgBox "Can't open core.vbs"
    On Error Goto 0
End Sub

' load B2S controller

If DesktopMode = False Then
Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")
Controller.B2SName = "Legend of Zelda"
Controller.Run()
End If

' Define any Constants
Const TableName = "ZELDA"
Const Version = "1.0"
Const MaxPlayers = 4
Const BallSaverTime = 20 'in seconds
Const MaxMultiplier = 7  '7x is the max in this game
Const BallsPerGame = 3

@rtkiii did you get it resolved?  I finally updated to version 1.2 of this fun table today. I was using the B2S and UltraDMD mod by Sinbad on the old version.  I then realised how much version 1.2 wasn't going to work.  I've now spent a couple of hours copying the stuff Sinbad did in v1 to the v1.2 version.  I know I've broken the reelsDMD but UltaDMD and the B2s are working.  Let me know if you want a copy.  I've done nothing new, just grab JP's table update and reapply the Sinbad code while trying not to stuff it too badly.

Didn sindbad just put the score up on the UltraDMD? If so I did something similar to 1.2

If there's animations up there or something though I didn't go that far

Sinbad did put a few other things on the DMD as well, certainly the ball count and tilt associated messages.  I can't remember the rest and I've left the man cave for the day.

It would be cool if someone that has this all put together, configured, and working with a cabinet upload it that way :-) Seems like people keep coming back with "how to" questions on this one that would be solved by a "cabinet" version being available without manual config/changes. Such a cool table, thanks JP!

I was not able to get this all working together, sadly. The game itself plays great, but despite trying to follow the various instructions/links, I've never been able to get the backglass and my real DMD to work sadly.

Downloaded the sinbad version yesterday and got it working without any issues. What is not working for you? Did you use the script parameters (true/false settings) to enable ultradmd and to disable the virtual dmd on the playfield?

I never got this working with Sinbad MOD.  If I use Sinbad Mod it always errors out on Const Version = "1.0"

Can you post in the top aprt of the script on your table?

Thanks,
Rich

I've clearly broken my support status, must fix that when I get home. In the interim I've cleared a path.

Hi.  One of those out there whom also gets the Const Version = "1.0" error.  I suspect we are missing some kind of library?

Hi.  One of those out there whom also gets the Const Version = "1.0" error.  I suspect we are missing some kind of library?

Well, that table was build in a early version of VPX. A later revision used the variable "Version" internaly, that's why you get that error. The only thing you need to do is to replace in the script  "Version" with for ex. "myVersion". I changed that in my latest revision so it is playable in newer VPX versions.

Yes...I get this same thing with that latest release of the table and VP10.2.  DDH is going to try and help me out because scripting is not my strong point.  The original version works fine but I cannot add the B2S.

While testing VPX beta, I think it was Sinbad who made a DOF+UltraDMD version of the table. You can still download it here:

https://drive.google...ew?pref=2&pli=1

There aren't many changes from the final version, I think I only changed the targets and droptargets to use the new VPX targets, but I don't think you'll notice that. Also this version has a few less flasher effects during game play, but there aren't too many changes..

Edit: this is on the DOF/UltraDMD mod:

At the beginning of the script you will find some values which you may change:

Const UseReelsDMD = True ' you want to use reels as a fake DMD?
Const UseUltraDMD = True ' you want to use UltraDMD?
Const B2SUseSound = True ' you want to play sounds even with activated DOF?

As default they are all on. If you don't want to use the DMD with reels (the one I made for the table) then just change the True for False.

I think this version should work with the B2S found on this site.

Ahhhhh....that is what a reelsDMD vs UltraDMD.  I had no idea   :)  Makes sense now.  I'll give it a whirl tonight,.

Having both enabled...does it cause slow down?  I only ask because Diablo and this table seem to run a tad slugish...not much...just a tad...and I am NOT using either DOF versions.

Got this running nicely except for one thing.  Does anyone's B2S load slower on this table than any other.  It takes probably 5-10 seconds after the table is loaded before my B2S loads for this table.
