Probably the dumbest question anyone will ask today but here goes:
" due to this, VP10 breaks a lot of backwards compatibility for ramps, lights, physics, colors/images/materials, and more,"
Since this breaks backwards compatibility does this mean I can't play my currently installed tables in the older version if I install this new version?

Or will they be two seperate applications?

you can absolutely run multiple versions of VP installed in the same folder is all that is needed.  Each version is just a different named exe in the installed directory.  I like installing to C:\Visual Pinball and under that dir I have Visual Pinball 9.2.exe, Visual Pinball 9.9.2.exe, etc.  Works fine since major different vp version use different Registry keys so they can have their own settings even.

pinmame 2.6, its also in the essential files section.. noah has to update the direct links in the menu at some point..
