Dozer the pin does play awesome. The only thing I wish I could do with frequency is hit the pyramid shot from the right flipper (which I could on the real machine 90% of the time) to start a mode. Perhaps once this table gets a PM5 tweak or translated in VP10, that shot will be makable. I have to rely on the top right flipper to hit that pyramid shot. How is your success in making it?

I can hit it from the bottom right quite regularly however sometimes I need to bounce off the two rubbers at the front of the pyramid to get it in. Before I tweaked physics I had a really bad hit rate.

At the moment it's an edgy balance because if you dial the right bottom in to make the pyramid shot easier, other ramp shots become much harder.

Stargate is a tricky machine from a geometry viewpoint. It has so many shots you can make and forms a large fan layout so getting it perfect is hard.

As you have said, a VP10 version may make it a little more accurate shot wise.

Cool thanks. I love those ramp shots and would hate to make them harder to hit, I just got my Horus Bonus up to 250MIL per shot in the Battle mode and scored a 3.4BIL game. BTW, this game would look amazing in VP10 :)

Sorry Bolt, I've found a major bug in the original table.  I noticed tonight when I played for quite a while on the cabinet that the pop bumpers seemed very weak even though their force setting is quite high.  Strange thing was that when I launched the table and threw a ball around it manually they were o.k. but as soon as a game is started they become very weak.

Turns out the bumpers are part of the tilt switch array and that solenoid call seems to require being inverted so when the game starts the pops go into tilt mode and drop their force to simulate tilt.  The slingshots I'm guessing are doing the same thing.

I'll fix this tomorrow morning and upload an update - I've also upgraded the plunger so it works with analog devices as well.  Should just be a matter of redoing the update with your desktop settings and backdrop.

Dozer.

Table has been updated.  During the new submission, the forum crashed for me with a script error however the file seems to have made it.

If you experience any issues with the updated file let me know here and I'll dropbox it or upload it to Mega.  This site has been super unreliable for me lately.

Downloaded and installed your updated file fine from site. Thanks!

Edit: Holy crap the table is way faster now, not sure how I never noticed the bumpers and slings were not at full speed, I must be partially retarded. Now you have to play with ninja like reflexes to capture or save the ball! Thanks for making a great game tougher dude! This game should of always been the first widebody from Premier, just way to much going on here to stuff in a normal cab.

I agree, a wide body would have been good.   Yeah it was too easy before, especially with the scoring mode timer issue.

Now it'll kick you in the nuts if you're not careful :)

But let me know how it plays after a few days, there's a balance between being challenging and annoying so if it's too hard, there are only a couple of tweaks needed to make it easier that you can do easily.

Hello there, ICPJuggla and I talked about doing a VPX version of this while he was doing the wire ramps.  Perhaps in the future if no one else does one we will look at putting it together. However summer is nearly here in Australia and I'm planning on taking a break for a while so if we do it will more than likely be in the new year :)

This is good to hear! I like your tables. Especially the VPX conversions are fantastic. Keep on the good work and enjoy the Aussie summer.

I have no ROM sounds with this table, but gameplay & DMD themselves are flawless, has anyone a hint for me?

Thanks in advance, Christian.

Thank you Joe,

I am playing via PinballX, this front end leaves VP when exiting the table, right? However thank you for your intention to help me.

My best regards, Christian.
