I've got a wpc95 speaker panel and the dmd cutout is 90x344mm, will your kit include a bezel surrounding the dmd panel so it will fit standard dmd dimensions ?

Any idea of when pricing info will be released?

Edit: Reread the original post and found the answer: "In a few days."

This looks really cool! Just got LedWiz (amazing!) working. Looking toward he next upgrade. This one would be a dream.

Man - the video looks great and I understand they look much better "in person."

Two questions:

How do you power it?
What happens on non DMD games that use LEDs for scoring on B2S?

I'm interested...

Pricing very very sion just gathering some assembly quotes. Cheaper i can make it cheaper i can price it :)

No bezel in the kit.

Power is through a single disk drive molex connecter 5v.

It supports all the alphanumeric games the pinDMD2 does (using same code). Just now it will use the pinMame colour settings.

German audioless video should now work. And i will upload another today showing the colorize feature a bit better and the displayung running full rgb video.

Also uses new USB drivers (standard windows libusb) so hopefully no more usb compatibility problems with newer mother boards.
Other features i forgot to mention (mostly for expansion) IR interface so you can control the colour using a cheap ir remote. I2C port so the display can be interfaced with other microcontrollers if some one wanted to use it in an embedded project. Also a real DMD connector to drive a real DMD if you ever wanted to swap to real DMD (with a purchased firmware upgrade)

Here is a video showing the pinMame colourize feature and raw 24bit rgb video.

I had to use my cell phone camera and the colours and quality is horrendous. The display looks like its flickering when it gets bright and all the colours are washed out and white. It does NOT look like this in person. Zero flicker and the colours are bright and vibrant.

I hope to have some proper videos taking of pinDMD3 soon once the prototype is finished :)

Its just a debug "authenticated frame" counter, Only visible in debug mode (was in debug mode at the time of video)
