error " Couldn't create sound buffer for load "

What I did was open it up in up in 991 change the Script to - Controller.GameName = "mav_401"  and then it worked in PM5

With plunger and B2S change

Ed

Can you re-save and publish the table using the 401 ROM?

I still can't load it even with the posted pm5 ver 5.0.1 or any other version.

Thanks

Rich

man that sucks... I was able to leave the rom set at 402... wonder why everyone is having different results...

Thanks Outhere,

That download worked. I seen you changed it to ver_401

After running it in 401, I changed it to MAV_402 then hit play,it said the ROM may be corrupt but loaded, I exited the table and hit play again it loaded without an error. I saved it with the 402 ROM and reloaded it and it still works.

Really strange!

Thank you...you certainly breathed new life into this table! Fun table! I played several games with no issues...using the one from the dropbox

Found a Issue .... after winning a second hand, the drop targets under the Belle stay down until the ball in play enters the captive ball area and then the drop targets reset and the ball in play is stuck behind. When the table does a ball search the drop targets fall down but the ball does not come out. All this time I can hear ball rolling sounds. Nudging also does not help. I have had this happen 3 times out of 10 games or so played.

Otherwise It is a great looking and realistic playing table. Thanks to all involved for the hard work. This table really needed a overhaul.

Hello Lex, thanks for the feedback.  I can't say I've ever had that happen to me.  I imagine that if you make the lauren belle hidden, the active ball will be seen stuck behind the rubbers keeping the captive ball in?  I have no idea why that would happen?  Only thought that comes to mind would be, do you happen to have the latest vbs files?  Not sure why this would affect physics, but it definitely did for me.  Most notably when working on TMNT.  On my laptop, when the ball left the sewer and went over the spinner, it would always put the ball nicely on the left flipper.  On my cabinet, the same event would send it straight to the center drain.  I couldn't figure out what was different.  Turns out it was different vbs files.  Once I had the same version on both the laptop and cab, they behaved the same.

After few attempt I finally get it to work if you take special version find here don't ask me what is the diff but it work for me

Regards

Thanks for sharing gigalula!

ok, I will send a version of the table Edizzle that works well in all versions of vp.

Thanks javier.  I imagine this version has the image size changed, as well as anything else similar to what gigalula, and others have tried?

Are there any other issues people have come across?  I'll try to address as many issues as possible and submit an update.

It is a really nice table...so thanx edizzle! :D
I will for sure update that ramp...it is more a test, as edizzle mentioned....and still missing alot of parts, and the texturemap is not finished. One thing about the ramp edizzle....shouldn't the ball turn left at the very top of the ramp instead of just drop stright down!??!

Hey edizzle,

I have not had the problem since I rebooted the cab this morning. I believe I have the latest VBS files, unless the ones hosted here are not the latest, the last update to them was in 2013 it looks like. If you have something newer then could you link it here or point me in the right direction for the most current ones.

 Thanks

    Les

Hey Les,

I use the vbs files that come with the VP10 beta releases.  I initially kept vp9 and 10, but I ended up having them together and for the most part, things have been alright.

Hi Zany, yes, theoretically, if the ball is able to travel far enough, it should curve left and drop down onto the other ramp.  When I was first building it, it would curve to the left and then drop and roll down the ramp, awarding a ball lock...I assumed that shouldn't happen on the real table cause that seems sort of cheap, but maybe it does happen?  can anyone confirm?  I'm not really sure why it goes straight up right now...the only thing I changed was adding your ramp model, which is not collidable anyways, and the actual ramp for sure didn't change.

Reminder - Maverick is one of the few machines that used the larger 192 x 64 displays. It might require some tweaking from the default setup to improve the appearance, otherwise the DMD will look squashed. My settings for a 'pixel perfect' display:
