Any chance of a cab version?

Ghee, for this one shawn, it will be hard. but i will try my very best though. i want to bring all 3 of the tables i have worked on to FS.

This is my first time working on a board which is three layers deep, it's very tricky stuff. Like a big E.C. Escher puzzle :)

I'm sure quite a few of us are looking forward to it. I wish you nothing but success. The JP version plays very nice, not the prettiest table, but very fun. I was also curious if anyone had a rom with cleaner sound? The original never had good sound, it's not terrible by any means, just not great.

have you tried the non-emulated sounds provided by JP?   in the script you can choose between the nicer sounding samples, or the actual proper rom sounds.

I went through the script today. It seems by default it's already set to use samples instead of emulation. It's just not great sampling. They used the same samples in the FP version which sounds exactly the same. There was already a discussion about it on Gopinball some time ago.

There are a few great games out there that need the sounds resampled, Medieval Madness comes to mind, fairly good sounds through most of the game until the castle blows up and the sound clips horribly. It's almost like a loud crackle. It's done it on every cab I've built, including one with a Bose Acoustimass sound system in it. I don't understand the nuances of sampling sounds from Roms so I'm not sure if it's as good as it gets or what.

Yeah hahah, i think we will have to play back the sounds on an old 8bit sound board or something :)

Well noted, i have started to hear the crackles now. I'm just happyarrow-10x10.png it's got something extra other than flipper sounds xD. But an improvement would be good.

Thank you for taking the time Shawn!

Very nice results Baloo, but there's no need to write the same thing in 4 "different" threads. ;)

If you are having crackling in MM try turning down the rom volume, if you go too high it crackles like crazy.

Looks awesome! It somehow reminds me on papercraft models, hehe. VERY distinct visual style. I like it, can't wait to try that table!

Much thanks talantyyr! That is just the look i was going for with Ace High. i have to say i was inspired by a very awe-inspiring game, "Lumino City", made with real papercraft, and then photographed.

here you can see him making the models, so cool!

Good news guys!

This is for all those who have requested FS versions of my tables,

i bit through all the technical nitty-gritty stuff today.

Tomorrow evening you can expect all three tables in FS release, including redone WS versions. :dblthumb:
