I used PinX Check for months and it makes a lot of work easier. So thanks for this program.

I only had a problem with my PhysMod5 tables. I set the registry to the ending .vp5.

So a doubleclick on the table opens the right exe to start.

But these tables were shown in PinX Check always as false.

Is it possible to implement the ending .vp5?

Hi guys.

Looks like a great program, but I'm having problems starting both version 1 and 2.

I got the files in the PinballX catalog. Is there more I have to do? The version 2 window comes up and stays there for 3 seconds before it disapears again.

I do have .Net 4 installed.

Since a few weeks PinXcheck has an error. Maybe after an windows update?

If I click on Media/Sys Media and start a check for the mediafiles, the program crashes.

Flyers, Instructions, Videos and DirectB2S works correct.

Sadly the program isn't updated. The v2 isn't an alternative, because in this version most of the needed things doesn't work.

I have the newest .net-version in windows 10 64bit

"Is it possible to implement the ending .vp5?"

I don't think I've been tracking this thread, so had no idea about these posts.

I'm not sure if a windows update would break it, shouldn't do anyway.

I need to look at where I was at with 2.0. The idea was to bring all the features in from 1.0 and I'm not sure if I got halfway in doing that without looking.

This week I'll go through both projects and maybe start updating 2.0 again.

I kind of know what stage I was at. All of the database editing options seem ok. I did notice the filter was not working when you want to map a table so I fixed that.

It's pretty much just the media auditing views to put in, fairly big job, but alot of work that was done in 1.0 I can bring over.

Always doing 101 things, but I could sneak doing this in.

Great news, because I use this program very often.

In the v2 you can't add tables. This is the main thing, I use v1.

In the bottom left tab control you can add tables.

In the bottom left tab control you can add tables.

So it should be, but it doesn't work for me. I can't add a folder (not implemented yet) and there are no items (tables) to mark and add.

Any tables that have not been matched when loading the xml should be in that list.

It's an unused tables list and should be like so...

https://www.dropbox....check2.jpg?dl=0

When you hover over "Open Tables Folder", that says Not Implemented? If that's the case maybe I have done work to that without uploading the build.

Just download again the program from https://horsepin.hor...e/pinxchecktwo

but this is no newer version, than I have. And there it says "not implemented".

So it will be nice, if you can upload a newer build.

I would like to try this software but the link is saying that the domain is dead. Does anyone have the files or a download link?

It was hosted on a site I practiced some web dev on before, but that's long gone.

2.0 will get some updates soon and I'm building a list of issues/features to attack when I'm ready to, feel free to add.

https://github.com/h...heck-2.0/issues

I would recommend using 2.0 for databases and if you need to do anything with media / launching use 1.0 for now until it gets bought into 2.

Enjoy.

For V1 that may work out of the box .net framework for Win7 and the ReadMe says copy to pinballX directory.

V2 you may need updated .net framework but it should tell you that and what version.

Added some launching back in. Play, Editor, Script.

There's a launch.ahk which you can edit if you need to. This uses the functions in that file.

I found using a tiny sleep highlighted below is more reliable in the launch.ahk.

LoadTableToEditor(TablePath, TableName)
{
    Send, {Control Down}{o}{Control Up}
    WinWait, Open ahk_class #32770
    WinActivate, Open ahk_class #32770
    ControlClick, ToolbarWindow323, Open ahk_class #32770 ,,,, NA x192 x0
    Clipboard = % TablePath
    Send, ^v
    Send {Enter}
    Sleep 200
    ControlClick, Edit1, Open ahk_class #32770
    Clipboard = % TableName
    Send, ^v{50}{Enter}
}

"crash with a standard message error from windows ("program stop working", with no other information.."

There's usually a button when this happens, you can expand to view stack trace, that would help, but I'll have a look tomorrow anyway and upload version to find out what's going on.

Hello,

I've the same issue than "sauvagere", it's linked to the "locale" windows settings, i've switched to English (United State) and then i can launch PinXCheck, as soon as i switch back to "French (French)" Pincheck fails !

Regards

Zestef
