New version out today with a table called Combat from 1977. They also updated some lighting:

iOs version now released with BRAND NEW physics engine.   Don't let the old physics put you off.   Great feedback over at the TPA forums.

Looks great but for some reason I experience pretty significant flipper lag. Makes gameplay less than satisfying.

It must be my old tablet I tried it on I suppose... or anyone else having the same problem?

No but you can turn off the gameroom and some of the hard hitting effects like the playfield glass and the particle effects, maybe removing those will lessen your lag?

The physics engine is excellent, Kind of reminds me of physmod the way the ball will hit something, spin and change direction (in a good subtle way). Superbly impressed they got this much performance out of mobile though it helps they don't have to worry about emulation (everything is scripted). One of the ASK reps indicated they are considering upgrading their old "Age of Pinball" app to the new lighting and physics engine. Personally I really hope they come out with a PC version (using higher res assets of course)

Thanks, tried these - didn't help.

I guess my Motorola Xoom I (overclocked to 1.4 GHz, running KitKat 4.4.4) just cannot keep up, although I'd expect it to be able to handle a game like this. Oh well.

Spent a lot of time playing this on the school bus as a kid!

Awesome what they pull out of the mobile platform engine wise.
Makes TPA look dumb, as it took them over a year to put dx11 on the PC and the lighting isn't as good.
pc version will be interesting, they clearly like to polish their product and come up with interesting new ideas like storm night settings, on the fly table deterioration,...
