Hey fuzzel i noticed the stuttering issue also with the last alpha build. After 3 or 4 plays it starts to stutter

I guess that has to do with Toxie's latest changes. Will check that.

Does the documentation also describe the changes necessary to a VP9 table build to make it playable in VP10?

Can I ask a silly question...

Will testing / installing VP10 have any adverse effect on our VP9.x configuration and settings?

No there shouldn't be any issues to install it along with VP9. The vbs files can be replaced and are backwards compatible to VP9. But it's a beta version so there could be bugs ;)

Excellent. Thank you.

If you want to use FS you have to uncheck 'Preview DT' in the backdrop settings

No. We don't have such conversion document.

The default table and jps table were never set up for full screen.

If you look in the backdrop you will see dt and fs settings for the table view.

If an author chooses to he can have them both setup so all the user has to do is check or uncheck the box to switch from fs to dt. I have monster bash set up this way already.

No need to have 2 versions of each table anymore.

Ella: its not really backwards compatible. But basically you would need to add a material to every object. Change the physics for just about every object. And adjust some scripting that is no longer used ir has changed

ok well in that case, not really much use investing the time to test until a FS table is available

Ill set the default table up to have a fs view also and submit it to fuzzel to add to the next revision.

For cabinet users. Currently pinballx wont load the .vpx tables. He has a copy of the software and is adding support to the front end.

As a workaround until the update, ive been told that the tables will load if you change the extension to vpt for now. Havent tried it, ill wait for the update as there are really no cabinet tables to play as of yet.

I have monsterbash almost converted ove and fire and bop are about 1/2 way done so hopefully in the next week or 2 ill have some pinmame tables available

Does the documentation also describe the changes necessary to a VP9 table build to make it playable in VP10?

there are some rough hints on what to do in the changelog. over time we will have to collect everything into a real documentation and/or a wiki though.
