Cant ever remember this machine having the transparent cover over the hole, and the one I own doesn't either.

Here's a photo of the plastic that goes over the top kicker hole.  You can see the transparent section although mine has yellowed with age:

Well I fixed the bumper kickback here by adjusting the force settings on all the pop bumpers from 8 to 7.5, which still seems plenty strong enough, oh and my PC can run VP at over 600 fps, i3/GTX660 though it's at about 250fps now as I have enhanced all the graphic setting within the nvidia driver for maximum clarity of render without any jaggies, 16xAF, 32xCSAA, 8 x supersample....

Thanks again great looking and playing table.

Yeah I believe you, looked on the data base and it's there. Can't check mine as it's still packed away from the move.

Says more about the 1st three words in my sentence really.

Anyway, back on track ..... it does look and play great. I keep going back to it, so thanks for this table and well done.

@StevOz:  glad that change seems to work.  Maybe that's the tweak I'll do when I update.  I also noticed there is an angle randomness setting for the kicker and I have it set to zero.  That might also keep it from being able to come back in multiple times.  I think I was worried if I set that it might keep hitting the sides on the way out and not make it out.  Maybe mine is the slower PC causing the differences.  I thought it was pretty good when I built it but I have a lot of flashing on my backglasses on certain tables.  I tried using a dedicated card for the backglass and it didn't seem to improve anything.

You mean like the knocker sound when you win a game?  Yes it does.  DId I leave it out or is it not working?  I can't check right now.  That's one toy I don't have installed in my cab yet so I easily might have missed testing it.

I don't think it is working. When I matched I got no sound. Also when you insert a coin is it supposed to knock then too?

I inspected the code and the knocker is mapped to solenoid output 14 which is correct according to the schematics I have and its coded to play the sound.  Unfortunately I need to repair the knocker on my real machine so I couldn't check whether inserting a coin is supposed to activate it.  Maybe the vPinMame rom isn't firing that output.

I did notice a couple images I need to fix.  When I was creating the lighting bitmaps I accidentally forgot to include the layers with the A, B, and C on the top lanes and this destop version is missing the player numbers beside the scoring.
