Hi, I can't get a ball to load. Any suggestions? I tried both control B and alt B but nothing.

Hi, I can't get a ball to load. Any suggestions? I tried both control B and alt B but nothing.

First, insert some coins with "5", than start the game with "1" and then press the key for the ball load. For me it's the key "A". If you want to change the ball load key press "K" and enter the new ball load key.

This way of key typing works fine for me.

Unfortunately that won't work for me. All of my other tables that require manual ball loading use the right control which is also my right magnasave. A = 30 and right control = 99 in the key mapping but I can't find an entry in the script that I can switch the number so it uses 99/right control. Anyone else know how to fix this?

I am prompted (via VBScript) on which key to use for launching the ball at table startup.  You should be able to enter whichever key you desire at this point (if no prompt, then follow the instructions given by takut.  However, it does not appear that the SHIFT, CTRL, TAB, and CAPS LOCK keys respond during this selection (maybe a few others), so you'll most likely have to pick a different key.

Hmm, yes I did notice that. Very unfortunate b/c all other manual ball loading tables I can press right magnasave. Kinda stinks. Anyone else know of a way to script this table to accept the right control for loading the ball?

Go into the script to line 1775 and change it from

KeyTab(1,1)="A": KeyTab(1,2) = 30        '    A            =  30

to

KeyTab(1,1)="A": KeyTab(1,2) = 157        '    A            =  30

Now you can load the ball with the right control key.

For the key table look here

Sorry for the old bump!

I changed the code to 13 so I could load using enter, like all of my other tables. I still get the option upon table load to pick a Letter A-Z. I picked A and now enter is not working to load the ball. A also isn't working to load it. Any thoughts?

The bumpers used to work just as lights, with .State = 0, 1 or 2. That changed in VP9.9. So you'll need to play this table with VP921.

The bumper lighting has been removed in VPX, with the arrival of the primitive bumper,

in VP9 .. the lighting is there, even in the dx9 version.
