I Downloaded the FS version 3.07. There were two files: VP9 3.07 and VP9 GI 3.07. I read that "GI" was added but have no idea what that is.

What is GI? Do I need it if trying to make a DT version?

GI = Global Illumination

When added to a table, it lights up the table nicely, but can lead to lower performance on old PCs.

Thanks for the GI information.
