Just a quick question.  I'm still in the process of rebuilding my pinball cab and haven't installed this yet.  My cab is a pin2K style where the 3rd screen (for the DMD-type display) is in mirror mode.  Any chance that that FutureDMD supports a mirror/planar flip?

Thanks.

There is a good chance the next version will  :) I am currently working on rotating the display. I should be able to add mirroring as well.

This new version broke mine.. No matter what i set it to by hand or in the ini when it closes and starts it goes back to a default size and position and when i look at the ini it has been changed from what i set.. I had the old one backed up so no rush...

Thanks Loaded Weapon, I am looking into the issue with the positioning. It doesn't seem to me identifying some peoples monitors properly. I'm trying to recreate it so I can correct it.

Yea I have no clue I don't use bam or pinballX and I tried it outside of hyperpin. The old version works pretty good so no big deal..

Sorry you guys are having troubles with the new ini versions. I have been busy with work for the past few weeks and haven't had much spare time. I will see what I can do to address the issues asap. If you are receiving the error "verify your hard disk isn't in protect write mode",  you may need to run futuredmd.exe as "administrator" to give it permission to write to your disk. It needs to be able to create a file (the ini) and it needs permission to write to the file.

Most of you seem to be having the same issue. I Just posted 1.7 which should fix you up.  When you run it right click the dmd window and select your screen (1,2,3) and then drag it into position and size it. It should remember its position on future loads. Let me know if this helped.

Thanks

Thanks, the 1.7 solve the framework error on XP, but something to do with color adjustment, because doesn't use table parameter's color from futurdmd.ini

Regards.

@Olideg

If you post your table color settings from your ini I will give them a test. Can you adjust the default color and see if it works for you? My table colors are working fine in Win7. I don't see any reason for it not to work on XP as well.

Hi,

I confirm that default color changed DMD display if i update them.

Please find my futurdmd.ini use with Hyperpin

[default]
red=245
green=100
blue=50

PosScreen=1
PosX=3977
PosY=54
SizeW=944
SizeH=471
Orientation=0
Mirror=0

[ASTARWAR]
red=        0
green=        110
blue=        200

The same thing with previous version not containing dmd position screen worked, i think i've forget something.

Thanks and regards.

That looks ok providing your fpt is named "ASTARWAR" . How are you running the dmd? Always on or loading between tables? Which front end are you using? What are the lines you are loading it with? Have you tried the lines in the FutureDMD Setup,pdf ?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to eliminate standard set up problems.

Hello,

I'm loading between tables.

As mentionned in my previous post, i use hyperpin and hyperlaunch.

Please find my order in hplaunch.ahk

IfExist %emupath%\FutureDMD.exe
               Run, "%emupath%\FutureDMD.exe" table="%tableName%",%emuPath%,hide UseErrorLevel

I tried at the begining lines in pdf, but had pb with" close = 1 sentence, so i close process manually in CloseFP.

Regards.

I take it that FutureDMD doesn't support every table yet? Or loads of them?

I tried a few tables and many don't appear on the DMD,The Goonies/Jaws etc run fine but Back to the future doesn't appear...Is future DMD getting updated aall the time to support tables? or is there a problem with my setup? ie if I stretch my DMD it might not play the image?
