Well done, will have to try this though you guys are making me see this another way. Ie: I think navigating in my windows cabinet sucks sideways so maybe the solution is to rotate the screen when I am in Hyperpin, and therefore rotate it for pinball fx back to the original position, and when exiting out of Hyperpin, rotate back to normal so again, navigating the desktop is not a pain. Would this be doable?

Does anyone know if tables purchased from the Windows app store (for the win8 version of pbfx2) are useable on the steam version? Sent from my Nexus 4 using Xparent Cyan Tapatalk 2

And what about the FX2 software ? Is it downloadable 4 free ? Or did you guys buy it ?

the same question i need to know?
And the tables where i can find it or i have to pay?

You have to buy it on Steam. The base "free to play" game is only a demo, but that allows you to try it before buying.
Those ball trails I don't like myself. You can disable them.

No, they are not, sadly. I don't think there ever will be one.
It might be possible to use Modernmix to integrate the W8 version into HyperPin.
You'll have to find a way to start it over command shell and a way to detect that it has exited, which both might be very easy or completely impossible, I don't know.
I never used Modernmix and don't plan to downgrade to W8 anytime soon.

This should be very easy. Without testing it, it could be done with Hyperpin\Settings\Settings.ini

[Startup Program]
Executable = c:\HyperPin\dccmd.exe
Parameters = -rotate=up
Working_Directory =
WinState = HIDDEN

[Exit Program]
Executable = c:\HyperPin\dccmd.exe
Parameters = -rotate=right
Working_Directory =
WinState = NORMAL

or, if you use iRotate (dccmd doesn't seem to work so good on Win XP)
[Startup Program]
Executable = "c:\Program Files\iRotate\iRotate.exe
Parameters = /rotate=0

[Exit Program]
Executable = "c:\Program Files\iRotate\iRotate.exe
Parameters = /rotate=90
On x64-systems use "Program Files (x86)" instead of "Program Files"

Edit: Just thinking about this, if you have portrait as default you will likely get problems if you edit and test VP tables without Hyperpin. Might be better to leave it like it is...

No readme yet. At the moment best follow my instructions in the first post. I would be interested to hear if it works with your setup.

If it doesn't work you need to switch to iRotate as described by Rockrocked.

If your are on XP32 and you playfield display is primary you have to replace the iRotate-Command in the script with

run, "C:\Program Files\iRotate\iRotate.exe" /rotate=90
run, "C:\Program Files\iRotate\iRotate.exe" /rotate=0

Edit: Typo corrected. Thanks, Jaquintd!

Cool glad that works!.

Dont forget that for admin tasks you can use hotkeys to change screen mode

Using iRotate hotkeys
In addition to selecting iRotate commands from the menu, the program recognizes a set of system-wide hotkeys.

Ctrl+Alt+Up    ; normal landscape screen orientation
Ctrl+Alt+Left  ; 90 degree screen orientation
Ctrl+Alt+Down  ; 180 degree screen orientation
Ctrl+Alt+Right ; 270 degree screen orientation

A separate set of hotkeys, using the common base, are recognized for each monitor in a multimonitor array:

Ctrl+Alt+key                ; monitor #1
Ctrl+Shift+key              ; monitor #2
Alt+Shift+key               ; monitor #3

Non-resident changes:

iRotate.exe /rotate=270 /exit
Normally when iRotate is run, it resides in the Windows system tray.
However, it can also be passed a desired screen orientation and instructed to exit immediately after applying changes.

The above is from the helpfile.

Ha, after all that, an update is coming in a few days which lets you change orientation in game: http://steamcommunit...39163665740847/

Them be good news. Didn't expect it that soon.

We can dump dc and iRotate then. Keyboard setting will still be a problem but they promised an update further down the line.

hide that line and the next line (about video) with a semicolon before each of them, I had to do that too for some reason.

One thing that caught me out is that the latest FPlaunch is compiled with AHK L and not the older basic that we had to use before - I was getting errors aswell untill I changed over.

Edit, just checked and yes the new update has an option to remove the pause and camera icons from the top right corner - yey!.

@rocky where are you finding that from? Is there anyway to add my mag save buttons for nudge inside the game without having to reprogram them in winipac?
