got some freetime at home , gladly spent them all in the garage !

the LG 27,5" tv for the backbox

Attached File  tv.JPG   60.7KB   31 downloads

flipped it on its back

Attached File  tv back.JPG   96.8KB   30 downloads

removed the back, easy just some screws

Attached File  tv1.JPG   116.46KB   23 downloads

removed the plate on which it usually hangs, its too deep with it.

problems like this i assume are fast solved with a thin LED type screen.

Attached File  tv2.JPG   114.52KB   23 downloads

the speakers and other extensions like the component in, can be easy removed by unclipping their connectors.
only board left on is for the IR receiver.

Attached File  tv3.JPG   96.16KB   25 downloads

speaker wires are allso clipped.

Attached File  tv4.JPG   117.97KB   43 downloads

leaves you with an empty shell....

Attached File  tv empty.JPG   106.18KB   60 downloads

screen mounted in backbox

Attached File  kop back.JPG   95.73KB   76 downloads

closed up, dont worry, all will be removed for painting, and drilling vent holes.

yup no problem.

also if you encounter that problem, use a resistor of 4 ohms across the terminals the speaker was on, the tv will be a happy camper.

small update

finally have all the pc stuff working.

installed a new quad core2duo cpu and a new asus gtx 650ti 2gb video card.

not any issues on my tables for now, im a happy camper.

picked up my coindoor and lockdown bar over at robs (thx again)

the door is resprayed and looks as new.

still have to find new inserts for the coin reject buttons (stern) as one isnt looking too fresh.

if anybody can help me out on this, info is welcome.

the stern widebody bar was 2 cm too wide.

i cutted it in 2 , made it shorter and its now being welded to one master fit bar for me !

that gets rid of the seem in the middle also.

hope all turns out right, but worst case scenairio i still have a right fit data east bar in black lying around.

of for a week vacation, then a week off from word, which will be dedicated to "the build"

stay tuned.....................

Heyyy Gerard,

Did you use that 6750 C2D i gave you ? OMG that lockbar is giving issues, hope the coindoor was easier to refurb.

I am still looking for those coin reject buttons, stern just wasn't used much here in the south, this weekend i'm going

postal on those two garageboxes full of arcade stuff, they have to be cleared out, so maybe i'll find a little gem !

Ohh and: Prettige Vakantie !

I agree, painting for me was always stressful in that you get the wood s sanded just right, looking great then just a little to thick a spray of paint and you get running which you most likely have to wet sand. Ugh.

Cant wait to see the finished cab.
