Very cool. But the automatic feature isn't working very well.

The table only uses about half the screenspace. And I know that is to get depth, but is it worth it?

After finicking manually it looks ok, but the settings I guess would be different on every monitor/tv so we wouldn't be able to share them.

Yes and no.

You need 2 wiimotes, 1 ir led "on hat", calibration board with 4 ir leds for head tracking. (video is using head tracking).

Without wiimotes you can:

- set manually camera position, so you will see exactly the same, but from one point. If You will look on screen from diffrent point  the picture will be distorted.

- change more options of FP, than without BAM

- have different setting for different tables

BAM is still under development

This look really promising! I might install FP on my cab just for this :)

Ah...ok! :D
Well i tried it with one Mote and the sensorbar i have(with 4 ir leds, two in each end) and Bam recogniced i, but thats about all. I was unable to do any calibration.
I tried some headtracking software and that worked, but not so good, so i guess two motes is the way to go.

I know this is a mainquestion about FP, but since you have so good knowledge of programming and what to do wit FP....PLEEEEEEASE....add Pinmame support.

I just tried a few SlamT1lt tables and it does really have a noticeable effect even without the head tracking. Very cool mod!!!! Thanks and I will be donating!!

Very neat. This seems to go further than the 3D mode(with the glasses) I tried on the Playstation 3 w/ the 3D glasses at Midwest Gaming Classic.

Can somebody explain this new BAM method with simple words? I read the text on the website but I really do not understand what  hardware exactly is needed. Only two Wii-Controllers or a camera or something else? The sensorbar, too? The very best would be a short video where all those things are shown.

Wiimotes ar actually IR cameras, and the can keep track of where a IR-led is located. The Wiimotes will be in a static position, and the IR-leds(sensors) will be on your head somewhere ie on glasses or a cap, and when you move your head your Wiimotes locates the x y z position of the IR-leds, and transfer that data to the application...in this case Future Pinball.

OK, thank you for the info!

Nevertheless I still do not understand what IR-LEDs I should use. Do I have to put on a third Wiimote on my head or what? And where do I have to put the two Wiimotes? Into the cabinet left and right or where? Or outside the cab? And where to put the sensorbar? It is not very well described on the website...

Hi!

The weekend will put on the video, the description of how to use head tracking.

I do not use sensorbar. Placed on the head of only one IR LED.

So essentially, you are using the Wiimote & bar in reverse? That makes sense for you want to have the lighter of the 2 objects to be on your head.

No. 1 object on head & 2 Wiimotes.

It works as human eyes. 2 Views from 2 points, 1 tracked object.

In the tracking video they use only one Wiimote as a camera, and two IR-leds.

I guess this method only track X and Y, and not Z axis.

Sure, but it helps a lot to understand the concept. Will follow this closely :)

To trace head in 3D with one wiimote 3 points are needed. Wiimote is a low resolution camera. Points have to be far away from each other. So on player head would be BIG triangle.
