I also just assumed it would universally work without giving it much thought, so I probably shouldn't do that.  Its no big deal though, easy update.  Plus I probably should draw the line at stuff I can't test.  You know I even had that issue with the alpha plunger on POTO where because it worked fine for me, I had no idea there was that timer issue causing problems for nanotech people.  Was an easy fix, & hopefully I can keep remembering to check that.  & knowing even JP chooses to avoid doing much more than flipping the table for FS, that also tells me I should probably do the same & not drift too far into the unknown!  Or if I do, I'll just make sure its tested by somebody with a cab before release.

It would work universally if non LedWiz users didn't have the toolbox vbs file :), but I know that some do due to the Scarface B2S table (I also posted an updated script for that too that fixes that for universal use). And rob, I also sent you a pm about some other plunger stuff that you should look at before releasing an update...

Well, POTO uses this same code & its a VPM table.  Also Riverboat uses the A/C relay much like POTO does, & so I just thought doing the same thing to Riverboat would make sense.  I'm not discouraged, but it is true that I shouldn't step too far outside of my comfort zone.  Not because I really care, but because I don't want to many people firing up a new table with errors or weird things happening.  Since one of the main points of a mod like this is to get it updated to all the very latest codes & features, I thought I'd jam in this one too despite not being too familiar with what it does.  I'm gonna fix it in a minute.  I'll look at the plunger too.

As for the bug where you can't get the game music out of your head for hours, that one I can't do anything about :)

JP is awesome.  People don't even see "behind the scenes" how helpful he can be as well.  Always responding to PM's when I throw questions or thoughts at him.  & we have discussed this too, but JP has done so many tables at this point, that it would take him years to update them all to the latest standards.  & as I told him, by the time he updates that last table, the 1st one would need updated again since VP is constantly evolving.  That is why, as much as this is a mod, I look at it a lot like I'm just helping to update.  Some of what I do is likely what JP would do himself if he had the time to get to some of these old releases.

Just update your ledcontrol.ini with the Ledwizconfig tool located here.

UPDATE

v1.1 - Alpha plunger system wasn't working right, now fixed & the plunger (skill shot) should have a more accurate feel to it.  Thanks Koadic for catching this.
Also I had added some ledwiz related code that I thought would work with this table, but it doesn't, so all that is removed.

Thanks for the mod. Just getting one error message when table loads, saying line 1107 variable is undefined bsize. Using table version 1.1 and vp914. Cheers Buzz

Sorted - needed the new vbs scripts.

Hi mango - you need the latest vbs scripts. Its in the download area - just unzip into your table folder replacing the existing ones then you should be OK. Cheers Buzz:) Damn Koadic got there first !! Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD

If any of you guys have a VirtuaPin like me, or a cabinet with right/left magna save buttons, this is the coding that I use to map the "qwer" buttons to the cabinet.

I hope this helps someone :)

 '**********

 ' Keys

 '**********

 Sub Table1_KeyDown(ByVal keycode)

     If KeyDownHandler(keycode) Then Exit Sub

     If keycode = RightFlipperKey Then Controller.Switch(57) = 1

     If keycode = LeftFlipperKey Then Controller.Switch(58) = 1

If keycode = "23" Then Rules 'it uses the i key for rules since the R is used for the red color

     If keycode = LeftTiltKey Then LeftNudge 60, 1, 20:PlaySound "nudge_left"

     If keycode = RightTiltKey Then RightNudge 300, 1, 20:PlaySound "nudge_right"

     If keycode = CenterTiltKey Then CenterNudge 0, 1, 25:PlaySound "nudge_forward"

     If keycode = 45 Then LeftNudge 80, 2, 30:PlaySound "nudge_left"

     If keycode = 52 Then RightNudge 280, 2, 30:PlaySound "nudge_right"

     If keycode = 42 Then Controller.Switch(60) = 1:Exit Sub

     If keycode = 29 Then Controller.Switch(61) = 1:Exit Sub

     If keycode = 157 Then Controller.Switch(62) = 1:Exit Sub

     If keycode = 54 Then Controller.Switch(63) = 1

    If keycode = PlungerKey Then

        If keycode = PlungerKey Then PlaySound "PlungerPull":PlungerIM.Pullback:Pcount = 0:PTime.Enabled = 1:Plunger.TimerEnabled=0

   End If

 End Sub

 Sub Table1_KeyUp(byval Keycode)

     If KeyUpHandler(keycode) Then Exit Sub

     If keycode = RightFlipperKey Then Controller.Switch(57) = 0

     If keycode = LeftFlipperKey Then Controller.Switch(58) = 0

     If keycode = 42 Then Controller.Switch(60) = 0:Exit Sub

     If keycode = 29 Then Controller.Switch(61) = 0:Exit Sub

     If keycode = 157 Then Controller.Switch(62) = 0:Exit Sub

     If keycode = 54 Then Controller.Switch(63) = 0

I believe left magna save does "pass"

 right magna does "green"

 and flippers do red/black.

Not a problem. This script change I did is a little bit different than before. I had to take into account the new plunger in this updated script.

...

If all you're doing is converting this for Flipper/MagnaSave use, then it would be cleaner to do it this way as it allows for more general assignments and usable by a PBW when not using keymapping software:
 '**********'
 ' Keys'
 '**********'

 Sub Table1_KeyDown(ByVal keycode)
     If KeyDownHandler(keycode) Then Exit Sub
     If keycode = RightFlipperKey Then Controller.Switch(57) = 1 : Controller.Switch(63)=1 'Black Button'
     If keycode = LeftFlipperKey Then Controller.Switch(58) = 1 : Controller.Switch(60)=1 'Red Button'
If keycode = RightMagnaSave Then Controller.Switch(62)=1 'Green Button'
If keycode = LeftMagnaSave Then Controller.Switch(61)=1 'Pass Button'
     if keyName(keyCode)="R" Then Rules
     If keycode = LeftTiltKey Then LeftNudge 60, 1, 20:PlaySound "nudge_left"
     If keycode = RightTiltKey Then RightNudge 300, 1, 20:PlaySound "nudge_right"
     If keycode = CenterTiltKey Then CenterNudge 0, 1, 25:PlaySound "nudge_forward"
     If keycode = 45 Then LeftNudge 80, 2, 30:PlaySound "nudge_left"
     If keycode = 52 Then RightNudge 280, 2, 30:PlaySound "nudge_right"
     If keycode = PlungerKey Then PlaySound "PlungerPull":PlungerIM.Pullback:Pcount = 0:PTime.Enabled = 1:Plunger.TimerEnabled=0
 End Sub

 Sub Table1_KeyUp(byval Keycode)
     If KeyUpHandler(keycode) Then Exit Sub
     If keycode = RightFlipperKey Then Controller.Switch(57) = 0 : Controller.Switch(63) = 0
     If keycode = LeftFlipperKey Then Controller.Switch(58) = 0 : Controller.Switch(60) = 0
     If keycode = RightMagnaSave Then Controller.Switch(62) = 0
     If keycode = LeftMagnaSave Then Controller.Switch(61) = 0
     If keycode = PlungerKey Then StopSound "PlungerPull":PTime.Enabled = 0:Pcount = 0:PTime2.Enabled = 1:PlungerIM.Fire:Plunger.TimerEnabled = 1
 End Sub
