Grizz, how sensitive are those mercury switches and how reliable are they? Do you get 'over-nudging' like sometimes with a mechanical nudge device?
Also, which mercury switch did you use?
I suppose three such switches would be necessary, I just wonder how good these mercury switches are. I currently use a plumb bob-type nudge device and sometimes when I nudge harder, it registers two nudges as it bounces from left to the right, so it is a bit of a pain to get the correct sensitivity dialed in.

mercury nudges sensitivity depends on angle - lower angle - more sensitivity
i also have tilt bob - with two contacts on sides - you set sensitivity by moving contacts closer
for multiple nudges - you set tiempofiltro to some huge number like 2000 - which means for two seconds there will be no more nudging, and tilt bo will stop swinging
you do this in my core.vbs (link in signature)
tilt bobs swing like crazy when you nudge - i was looking at it and swing back is even stronger that first swing so you would always get mutli nudges if you don't enlarge tiempofiltro
i did another thing - i've put crushed alu foil around tilt bob to reduce recoils and swinging
My paper cab
core.vbs with better nudge
FPLaunch with exit menu, instructions, flyer - local vpf copy
VP with support for analog nudge and plunger with any gamepad

why are you hacking the sidewinder with all the cables because you use buttons for nudging ?? because do you need buttons for nudging with the sidewinder pro it think it will work without buttons because of the sensors in it not ??
thx in advance
