I guess you both are using UVP :) There is no sound when using UVP on these Stern tables which use samples (Elvis, LOTR ++). If you want sound it must be played from the ROM. So you'll need to adjust the script.
Son find this line:

.Games(cGameName).Settings.Value("sound") = 0 '0 = disable rom sound
And change the 0 with a 1

Also find the line 292 and comment it by adding a ' in front of it

Thanks for this great update, Mr. JPSalas :otvclap: . The settings are perfect, except the outlanes :( , the balls go there very often. Can you narrow them a little, when you're back from Spain? Or maybe I can do it myself  ?

Thanks again for your work.

Hello. I was having an issue with this table and the LEDwiz. For some reason all my outputs worked except the flashers. I double checked my ledcontol file and the flashers were programed correctly. On a whim I decided to change the rom specified in the table script to "rip310". Then I changed the entry in my ledwiz config from ripleys to rip310. Bam ! Worked like a charm. Just in case anyone else out there is experiencing this issue I thought I'd share.

LOVING the new bloom lighting effects on the flashers :D btw.

Yes, they drain a little easy, but you don't want the game too easy do you?

Hi, Loving the table, but was wondering if someone could upload the real spinner sound, that kind of sounds like a laser shooting?

Everything else on this table is perfect, just need that sound effect.  PLEASE!

Thanks!

Since jp salas has retired from making/updating tables , I'd have to say your on your own with this one. Change the sounds effect in sounds manager to a sound effect you like better.

Hi again,

Just solved it!  Just took a sound file from Elvis, the newest vp Elvis.  It's called FDA5!

If anyone's interested, just download the newest Elvis, and go to sound manager, and import/export it, rename it,

and there it is!  Same exact sound needed for Ripley's Believe It Or Not spinners.

Great table and your work up is really good... Like always.
I have a little problems running this table
- try with VP 9.9.0: no music, knocker activate when insert coin, DMD height little thank others table.
So
- try VP 921: music plays correctly, knocker always activates when insert coin, DMD always little.

In script I changed only b2s.server and DMD rol.

Some hints?!?

There are a number of tables where the DMD is little because VPM is taking room to render secondary Playfield displays. This can be seen more easily when you test the rom through setup.exe. These tables include ripleys, simpprty, hirolcas, wpt, and I'm sure others..

It is a VPM bug, it can't be fixed except to turn on ddraw and resize the DMD..

Thanks carny for quick reply.

Music issue was my fault

Big problem with dof... When I insert coin all led and strobe on but also knocker.
It's the only table with this problem.

If in script I change rom (320, 310 or 302) I have no problems... But also no dof!
Dof work only with 330

Know why?

Ok with some time at disposition I find issue and it's not on table script but in directoutputconfig.ini
Using the dofconfigtool in other site and generating the file .ini knocker is misunderstood with other element and now I don't know which.

I tried to swap port settings and issue persist with the other element...
My temporary solution has been to set in port settings of dofconfigtool gear in same port of knocker, generate .ini, copy and paste table string from new to original .ini

Now you can play table with no issue but if you win a game knocker won't activate

Ok there's no error in .ini file of dof
Ripley's BION is a stern table and in all stern table there's knocker issue.
To solve it must enter in service menu of table

STANDARD ADJUSTMENT--> OPTION 55 (Q24 option) --> is selected knocker.... Change it with other possible option and install it! Pay attention to install!! Double click on enter button otherwise it doesn't work.

Restart table with F3 and knocker works correctly.
In this way you could play with last available rom.

Thanks to arngrim for solution ;)
