Do somebody can emulate P2K tables please?I need them :JawDrop:

Looking forward to your contribution to the effort... Hahahahahahahahahaha

But really, is it that important? One game is a complete stinker and the other is funny and fun for a few minutes.

But of Course, there is a Way with transparent Image Layers, to do that Way,
not with the real Software, but reproduce the "Video" with single Images.

To don't broke the "Copyrights", someone could try one Original Table like this.

I did a very small Demo for this, in the Past, it would working.
And yes … also with the real Thing ;)

Seriously. It won't work.

P2K was specially designed to ONLY work in it's own environment. The only emulator - Nucore - for P2K is actually just a replacement for the case that a computer software screws up and doesn't have to be replaced by a expensive and hard to find part.

It won't even run bareable in a different environment, only so darn sluggish that it's not worth thinking about.

Take that, and the fact that honestly, nobody with tech experience apparently gives two *AHEM*s about emulating P2K because it's just not worth it! Think about it. You have a system. It has two tables only. It's a incredible pain in the derriere to even attempt to run it. Even more so to run it above 3 FPS. Would you keep working on it? I'd rather work on something like WCPMAME.

The McD

that that is really just QEMU+stuff to cover the custom pci card IT still needs the real driver board. But at least there is hope (may not in windows but in Linux)

There was a proof of concept once that already worked, but was far from 'production ready' and user friendly, over at the other forum.

I seem to recall that Destruk had built a 'protoype' in VP9.x for (for SWE1 maybe??) but I think he received a cease and desist order.

I don't know anything about emulation but there is another Future Pinball table that plays more like a Pinball 2000 table than DarkQuest that you guys mentioned earlier. It is "Robots Invasion". It uses a hologram to create the video like DarkQuest but it's appearance seems more like Pinball 2000 to me.

You can get it here:

I wish Polygame would have created a Revenge From Mars table but unfortunately he did not.

Yes Kruge.  But someone else could try and receive their own C&D. LOL...I'm sure eventually they'll loosen up and not care anymore if we make the game, but it won't be me working on it.

NuCore is freely available. Full package updated for a more modern Linux is available in the nucore forums. It's free but not open source. Don't know if there would be issues with the license for using for virtual purposes. Plus it's Linux, but it is some sort of path to emulation. So... maybe?

Is it possible to do "emulate" Pinball 2K through a PuP Pack? Was configuring PinUp Player the other day and saw it had a "table screen," but I'm not sure whether or not it can handle slight transparencies.

kind of Ironic how PS4 has an emulator after 8 years

and yet we can't seem to emulate Pinball 2K, which is old technology over 20 years

Timing may be an issue? With linking X86 VM + cards + driver board to an VP pinball table?

Also the MAME WAY of doing it is SLOW.

NuCore is the fast way + it does not need to the driver board.
