Finally got around to converting my iPad sketch and building a table off of it. Rough layout at this point, lots of tweaks for game play and about a million for aesthetics... Must've had some Wizard of Oz subliminal influence in my subconscious - the more I look at it the more I'm reminded of their layout. Oh well...

Well, you know what they say: "There are a lot of great ideas out there, and the best of them are always copied."

Looking great so far, can wait for the finished product.

If you can get permission from Zenescope Comics then this might make a good backglass. I am sure they would be easier than Disney.

Awesome. Already saved it.
Thanks for the great find.
Between this, my Disney posters and whatever gets released with the table I should have some great choices now.

Thanks oldskool'. Really appreciate your comments. I've been working on some of the art design and layout of Alice lately. I have a functioning table that I've worked through to make sure the overall layout works properly as planned, all of which I'm pretty happy with.

Although most of my time now has been spent working with JP on the WOOLY table and modelling that design in 3D so I can build a real one. If only there was more time in the day... or if pinball design was my job... hmmm....

I applied on principle, even though I know my resume is not really representative of what they're looking for. How sweet it would be, though.

If by "real one" you mean an actual machine, you should PM me so we can talk naughty about board designs.

Unless you're just going to go with the P-ROC (but what's the fun in that?)

Or if you just mean real as in the VP table, I can't wait to play it either way smile.gif

Got more time to work on my other WIP... most of the characters have all been pencilled, inked, scanned, vectorized, and placed on the playfield. One step at a time. :)

Looking good! I can't wait until this comes out to play it. The word special is mis-spelled on the bottom right corner. Keep up the good work.

Nice catch, good thing it's a draft and not a screened playfield!

There's something twisted about the whole Alice in Wonderland thing that always peaks my interest. I don't know if you've ever seen in but check out American Magee's Alice stuff. Its pretty amazing. They released a PC game a long time ago and more recently and Xbox 360 game ( Alice: Madness Returns). Can't wait to see this finished.

A little more progress... upper playfields still need a lot of work, along with art for the plastics and a bunch of other miscellaneous items, but it's starting to take shape. Looks a little busy right now, hoping that's just the black and white illustrations without color for further definition.

Couple cool featuers (at least I think so)
-Upper right playfield will be a two ball - "Off with your head" mulitball - first ball gets locked under the guillotine. Second ball to make it to the upper playfield raises the blade on each corresponding orbit shot until whack, blade falls, and two balls are now in play....
-Jabberwocky multiball starts after completing the Vorpal sword in which case the jabberwocky will rise out of the playfield and need to be destroyed via stand-up targets at the base. Still early in development though...
