Mr. Scapino, another fantastic rendition of a late 70's table by Bally.
Thats what I love about the 70's machines. Bascially no ramps, no cluttered overdone graphic table images.
Simple, knock out the lights and targets, win a freebie game. What the hell can be so hard about that?
Again, thanks to Scapino for a simply gorgeous table that plays really good!

The table isn't locked. You can load in whatever sounds you want. Just use the "re-import" function, that way you won't have to change any code.

Thanks, all!
Yes, I'm working on the "cabinet" version (16:9) now. I'm trying to get it organized so I can have a easilly repeatable conversion technique
for my table. I have all the math worked out for 4:3 tables, so I can do those quickly, now I have to work out the math for the rotated 16:9,
cutting and placing reels, correct render sizes, and all the offset and zoom numbers in VP9, so I won't have to do endless, move, zoom plays to get everything to line up.
Thanks again for all your kind words, and I will post updates as I go along with the 16:9 development.

Didn't think I was going to like this table. I like them loud, flashy and intense. I've never even bothered with the oldies, and yet here I am playing this for the last hour lol! First you get me hooked to Johnny Mnemonic and now this. What a difference in pins though! Yet the simplicity of this, plus the amazing sound effects like the ball rolling, and the clean hits of the targets and bumpers. Seriously, it's amazing.
The lighting once again is SPOT ON! The best ambiance for a pinball is in a dim room. Someone dropping by to serve you drinks and a lamp nearby. The lights on the table should be brighter than the ones around the room. The pinball machine should be the attraction. No glare, just ambiance. Everything under the glass is the the world you want to be in. You capture that essence better than some of the arcades and pin parlors I've been to.
Is there any way to get the "rolling ball" sound into other pins? Would love to add that into Mnemonic and a few of the others like Cirque Voltair.

You could export the ball rolling sound with VP9.
Then add a large shaped "trigger" over the center of the playfield of the game you want to add the sound to.
Import the sound into the table.
Then add the following simple code to the bottom of the script....
Assuming the trigger you added is named trigger2....
Sub Trigger2_Hit()
StopSound "ballroll"
Playsound "ballroll"
End Sub
Thats all there is to it.

Never found a way to rename the trigger or even name it, and right clicking on it and hitting "scale" doesn't change its size. No way to drag and stretch. Haven't found a windor, nor a list of triggers anywhere. Been trying to find it without asking, but the program isn't photoshop that's for sure.
Edit: Nevermind, I got it.

Funny that you said this:

Because since i've been using VP (years now) i've "always" wondered the same exact thing....how come all the table recreations don't have that cool ball rolling sound added to them since it makes such a huge difference with the ambiance factor

You do have to be somewhat carefull with the rollingball sound. Its a long in duration waveform, which ties up one of your soundcards channels for a good amount of time.
On my Mata Hari table you'll notice every now and then a pop bumper wont make any noise, and this is undoubtably because the soundcard ran out of channels (will all the beeps and boops, and scoring noises iys also making.)

Ah ok, I had no idea
But I like that you do squeeze in the balls sound when you can. I think it makes a huge difference.
