I was going to ask about the tapes too. Looks like some Beta in there?

I actually had a huge stockpile of stuff i recently unloaded, and have found myself needing some things, so good to hang onto them just in case.

I think there is even PS1 and PS2 games ...... but no Beta.

B2S does not rotate but it moved around and resized as you like. The newer ones also supports 3 screen cabs.

Wouldn't all of them support a 3rd screen for DMD (where applicable)?
Since the DMD/scoreboard (well, some of them) is free floating?

Or did I misinterpret and by newer ones, you mean later tables, as opposed to newly released tables?

Does/will B2S support balls in the backglass (NBA Fastbreak, Banzai Run (kinda?))?
Now, for the tables that have both UVP and B2S capabilities without back-glass animations (like Scared Stiff) which one would be a better choice?

Less CPU intensive with ROM controlled lights, B2S sounds like the way to go. And poking around, it seems like the resolutions on the B2S backglasses is pretty much equal to UVP, so no loss there.

You don't have to choose uvp or b2s, they can both be used on the same system.

I do. UPV does not work well with my LEDWiz. It's B2S and LEDWiz or UVP for me. I'm not giving up LED's, contactors, and a motor to get some light bulbs flashing on my back glass.

Hey pinball fans

When i launch hyperpin. i see here in this menu all my tables.

Can the backglass be animated now in this menu?

I use now dB2S/B2S

The B2S/dB2S files works only when i select a table to play.

Will UVP work in this menu, or will it launch when i select a table?

Can UVP  do this?

When you are scrolling through the menu of different tables in either Hyperpin or Pinball X, you are not launch each table only looking at screen shots of the playfield and backglass.  When you select a table to play then the actual game is launched and the table you select is loaded and run. Then you will be looking at that one table while it is running in the emulator, VP or FP

I believe Hyperpin will let you copy videos of the playfield and backglass (search downloads) to their respective folders and just replace the still images of each table with the video named the same as the still image keeping the f4v extension.   Now when you scroll through you collection of games in Hyperpin, you should see the videos rather than just a still image of the game.

For back glass videos you don't need to replace them, (in my experience) you can just drop the back glass video into hyperpin back glass folder and it will override the still image.  Table videos have their own folder.  Only conflict I've seen for this is if you have an image of the same name for FP if the table is also available for VP it wants to use the FP one as a priority.

Thanks dark, I was thinking that since they both had different extensions, I knew they could both exist in the folder, I just wasn't sure which one would take priority. Didn't remember having a separate PF directory like Pinball X.

Been quite a while since I used Hyperpin!
