Updates would probably be good and can maybe even go towards helping you feel loser when starting new tables knowing you got a lot of the other potentially somewhat chore like VP work out of the way first (speaking from personal experience on my own cab adjustments / updates vs. some other work to add and tweak new tables).

Maybe alternate between some with some high priority / requested updates and highly desired new builds. By any chance are you thinking of adding some 8 level GI lighting to the TOTAN and AFM Night Mods?

Like other people are saying, ultimately go with what you want and what you need to do to still keep enjoying working with VP.

jimmy, 8 step on all the wc games for sure. I've done total once that way, but I've learned a lot since then

I voted for new tables, but only because Haunted House is the thing I'm most excited about that's going on in the VP Community right now. I think Arngrim has the right idea...and honestly variation is usually better for workflow anyway. A couple updates, a new table, a couple more updates, etc...

That said, whatever makes you happy is what you should do ultimately...the community appreciates your work, but you and other table authors do this first for the love of pinball and creating something...so your enjoyment comes before anything else.

I voted for updates, even though I probably won't be able to play them now, but someday I will. smile.gif The thing about updates is you get to go back and say to yourself, "what the hell was I thinking?" and you also get to just play the table, sometimes I think some of the guys who create a lot of tables, never even play them much. You need to play tables to create and update tables. So take some time and play your tables, play some other people's tables and enjoy VP for what it was made for, playing pinball.

A Creature update would be killer!!!!!
And if you secretly got started on a Pinball Magic new table that would be cool as well.
