Thanks so much for all you efforts! You Rock

I think "Jokerz" has a cool jackpot light stick like this one has.
That would be another cool table to have done.

I will try to explain it for you.

B2S is a sysem developed by rosve to display a full backglass (mainly EM backglasses) on a second screen for cabinet users, or a full backglass on the same sceen for Wide Screen users. The backglass has all the scoring reels built into it and does display properly on a second monitor from what I understand. I think Bad Cats and Scared Stiff were developed in B2S to display animations on the backglass properly (Spider Wheel on Scared Stiff, the rotating cat on Bad Cats) and these were the first solid state tables done by rosve to use this method.

From the reviews I've seen from users, this method of displaying the backglass does eliminate a lot of the stutter on Scared Stiff that happens when the UVP version of this table is run.

I'm sure rosve or other users can give you a better rundown of this than I have, I have tried to give you a basic overview.

No idea what B2S stands for, but basicaly it is and executable file that you put inside of your tables folder.
Then when a table such as Scared Stiff and Bad Cats are launched, they have a line of code that automaticaly launches that executable file.
You then have an animated backglass on your second monitor that acts exactly like a real backglass does with all the flashing lights and any animation if the original table has animation.
I'm sure someone else may explain it better. But this is what happens.
It is very cool.

Thanks a million !
I can't play it though, because the stutter is horrendous on my mediocre system.

Sounds strange there pal!

I have got it running with the same small stutter as I allways have when all flashers going of at same time, but not a bit more!
Same goes for the Scared Stiff!

Must be something else.

But if I try UVP with a ledwiz table the flow is as smooth as the motion of a broken dildo! whtflag.gif

All VP tables run fine except monopoly, but....
I figured this one out too ! woot woot.
I 'unticked' "draw ball shadows" and "Draw ball decalls".
Shame though, because this way I miss out on JP's trademark...

Do these work properly on 2 screen setups? My 2nd screen is on its side in vertical mode so part of the screen is used for my score the other part is for backglass, but will this be squished in my case or are there 2 different versions? Preferably without the speaker grills. Any insight would be appreciated. And thanks for making these great tables!

Basically, it stands for "Backglass to 2nd Screen".

If you want to use on rotated 2nd screen, you have to have it rotated with windows and that means changing your whole set up.
Rosve just change his tables to have this new part in the screen res text, so now we can resize and position the BG.
I,m running @ 1920x1080 but in my screen res txt I change it to this
1920
1080
1080
1080

Argh! Ball stutter. I tried to at least come up with a probable cause however, nothing short of eliminating anything to do with Light3 and the flashers by the score, I have no clue (I did this by copying your B2S calls into the original table). I thought it might be associated with playing the sound samples, certain animations or just when heading towards the flippers but, it's more random.

I disabled reels, took my alpha accuracy down all the way, the standard trouble shooting bits but, still have stutter.

I put together a pretty modern system just for building my cab. I downgraded from Windows 7 to XP and replaced my high end ATI with 2 High End NVidia just to ensure compatibility. I can give full system specs but, I believe they are similar to other configurations on the board.

I'll still bang away at it though, one of my (and my wife's) favorite games so, it will remain in the wheel as is. Having a hyperspace ball just adds to the challenge. I also enjoy UncleWilly's dark version, it has a terrific ambience.

Thanks for your work!!!

'If you want to use on rotated 2nd screen, you have to have it rotated with windows and that means changing your whole set up.'

doing this would mean you only can play the B2S ? backglasses with UVP are not shown correctly ?

Hopefully the creator of B2S comes with a solution rotating the backglass, that would be awsomne !

You can have both
All the HP , UVP stuff is simple, it just changes.........the only thing is the DMD windows have to be changed. I made sure that there were no script changes rotating the DMD, resized and positioned one, then used DMD Mover to do the rest with one click.
And FP has to have the BG resized.

If you want the bg to launch from HP, it is very important that the Table and the Backglass files have identical names and that they end with _B2S.
You also need the latest FPLaunch from HP forum.

I just wanted to say thanks again to Rosve. I had trouble with stutter with the older B2S,
but these latest releases are running perfectly smoothly. Good job, Rosve! Keep it up!

ss doesnt have identical names or table ends with B2S but it works?
