My bug is sometimes the ball will go up the right ramp and if diverted to the left inlane will fall off the wire ramp where it meets with the wire ramp going to the left inlane but not every time

I can't get this table to work in my cab at all. The ball simply won't launch. I have gone into the table and moved the shooter and it will work as long as I have VP open for that session. When I reopen the table through VP or Hyperpin it is back to not launching. I am saving the table every time I adjust it in VP, but next time I launch the table it won't launch again - I can go into VP adjust the shooter and it will work, save it, exit to Hyperpin and launch the table and the ball gets stuck in the shooter lane.
I have no clue what it going on. I have deleted the NVRAM folder, reinstalled the table numerous times, always the same thing. First time I play it in VP it is fine, close VP and open HP and launch the table and the ball won't launch, then start the steps above to no solution - I'm stumped?

Ok, I played this for over an hour last night on my cab and finally got some of the errors some of you were seeing. My bad, I didn't compensate for the larger ball in VP9 vs VP8. I adjusted the pin placement on the outlanes so that the balls can go down them (vs deleting walls) and they work now. Also adjusted height of the crossover ramp to 115 so that the ball can underneath it. I adjusted the position and strength of the plunger, should be ok now. Lastly, included the a13.vbs file in the zip now, sorry about that.

In playing last night, was able to get the 2nd highest score and enter my initials Woot! 13 multiball is crazy.

I'll try again later today and let you know. Thanx very much for your changes!!!

@blur- Blur, I am using my own ball in this table and it looks GREAT! My understanding is that all images render at 50 X 50 px for the ball image, so my guess is that you indeed need to make physical adjustments to the table to compensate.

cheers,
Maceman

Sorry about your frustrations w/ this table. I tried some of the same things and got it to duplicate
the error on one of my pcs as well. I think the problem was how I had the plunger trigger set
as well as the height of the instructions wall decal. I tried everything and opened and saved and
closed and reopened and tried opening it in Hyperpin and it seems to be stable now.

Give it a try, let me know if you still have problems!

I downloaded the last version you posted. It will work one time, not the next. It will stop launching a ball if I choose Novice for one game, then Regular game for the next game. I uninstall and reinstall and the first time I play in VP it will work, then if I enable UVP it won't work - always not loading a ball or launching a ball. A number of times if I start a game and choose the default mission in the middle position it will work, but if I choose something else with the left or right flipper, say "13 Million" it will not launch the ball when I hit the plunger button.
Don't know what is going on, it is the only table on my cab that does this?

I tried reproducing this error on two different computers including my cab computer and can't
seem to get the error. I normally don't play the novice game but tried it and tried it and then
tried regular game and it all works for me. I tried the v1.10 version and it worked too, so I'm
not sure what's going on yet.

When it says 13 million and you hit the plunger button does it make any noise like it's trying
to hit the ball or is it just dead?

When I choose 13 Million and hit the launch/plunger it will make the noise like it is launching, but no ball - doesn't even appear in the shooter lane.

I changed what I think is an interfereing top wall to a decal in version 1.3.0
Not sure what else I can try, as I am just not seeing this error.

I tried it again a number of times. What it is actually doing is firing the shooter rapidly over and over again but there is no ball. I opened it in VP and played it with no problem. I then opened it in Hyperpin and the error started, closed HP and went back to VP and the error was present in VP at that point. I started to shoot some video of it so you could see what was happening. Somehow it seems like once my cab is cut on for the first time and I go straight to VP it is working, once I launch it from HP then it is messes up in either program? I don't get it.
I appreciate you looking into it, I believe it's just one of those things that isn't going to work for my setup for some reason.

Sorry it hasn't worked for you. I have seen the error though -- but it doesn't appear to be related to Hyperpin.
Maybe something you could try is to move/remove the wall or decal above the plunger and ball launch area, and see
if there is at least a ball generated. Then try playing around w/ moving or moving front-to-back the trigger
and plunger.

Don't know what else to try right now.

When I get multi-ball on this, I only get 4 or 5 ball multi-ball. One time only I got the full 13 (amazing!) in 5 games. Is that supposed to be like that or are you supposed to get 13 every time?

Would love to see a graphics improvement on this! Also a physics improvement -- I will work on flipper settings and see what I come up with.

WOW ok then ... I better get to it...

Any images would be welcome Flying Dutchman even scans...love better pics of the playingfield all i could get is the ones from the ipdb and they are not that good..

Started work on the bottom part on the pinball..

Heres a pic just to show i am doing something..biggrin.gif

I think the problem with the ball getting stuck when you start the game its to do with the ball hitting the ramp, I tested it with desktop version and turned it round so it was 16.9 and it did the the same thing... weird..:S

Looks great!

Here's irony -- I'm out of the pinball game for a few months and the week I come
back (New Year's party rekindled my interest) I see new posts on one of my
conversions!

Haven't worked on much new stuff, and unfortunately don't have better scans.
But I'm all for it if you can do it!

Got balls stuck here Attached File  A13.jpg   237.29KB   45 downloads after a particularly long 13 ball multiball. They just kept bouncing around down there.

I am impressed at how smooth this table plays with 13 balls on the table at the same time during multiball. Great job vidmouse!
